one screenshot a day?

Hi,

My Nokia Lumia 925/software 8.1, won't let me take more than 1 screenshot a day. It's really driving me nuts!

When I try it the second/third/etc time, it says 'Couldn't take screenshot'.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Simply restarting the phone doesn't help.

I've just tried this on my device and I can take numerous screenshots in a row. How much free space do you have on your phone?

It might be worth trying a soft reset, which is like a factory reset but will keep all your data. Press down the volume down + power button simultaneously for 10-15 seconds or until you feel a vibration, then let us know if that has solved your problem!

I had this exact same problem on my 930/WP8.1 and it actually went away after about a week bg itself

Thanks, I tried the soft reset, which did let me take one more screenshot - but just one. I'm having the same error message again now...

I have almost 2.5gb free so I'm not sure if a lack of memory is the issue because I can take as many ordinary camera photos as I like.
I'm not sure if it's worth increasing my free memory space, but I'll have a go!

That's lucky! I've noticed that I've had this for around a month now though.

Just checked my 930 and I also can take multiple ones but I'm not using dp on this one will try my 8x and report back

I had this issue in the past, I restarted my Lumia and everything went fine
