I wasn't looking for something on you.

It all has to do with your tone. Had you said something like "If a new Surface is too expensive for you, you might want to consider a Chromebook" then that wouldn't have been insulting.

I get the honor this time... This guy is a tool he is continuing to argue with me via PM. If he posts something that deserves a ban let me know I will handle it.

Even though he continues to argue with me I just read through his recent posts history he is being civil. Maybe we got through to him just a little. That is what we want to try to do is rehabilitate the member see if we can get him to post better. Right now he is trying real hard to post perfectly in a civil manner just to prove me wrong. That's okay with me if it keeps him here and keeps him from posting badly we win.

I gave ohgood a vacation 2 weeks off for thread crapping. He was using the same lines to start an argument about WP file explorer again. This is classic thread crapping we have to know the persons history well before this becomes a ban worthy offence. We all know I have been trying to rehabilitate his posting behavior but PMs, open forum conversations and logical reasoning hasn't worked. If he comes back in 2 weeks and doesn't change next ban will be permanent.

I believe banned users are still able to read the forums, but they cannot post. I've always seen banned users showing up as online on all of the Mobile Nations forums. It's been that way as long as I've been a member.

Maybe they show up as logged in until they log out or until a certain time period that they are idle. Cookies probably have a factor here. I've noticed in the past prior to Passport (and when Crackberry was the only site I belonged to) I'd log out of Crackberry in Firefox. I'd open the site in Opera but not log in. However, I still saw the little green dot showing I was logged in.
