Just sent a warning to BeefNeeg for trolling, by posting a clearly provoking thread. Keep an eye out to see if he behaves or retaliates guys.

I saw that you one-touched him, shouldn't really do it that way because it doesn't leave a record with the spambuster.

I saw that you one-touched him, shouldn't really do it that way because it doesn't leave a record with the spambuster.

I gave him an infraction for spamming too.

Addendum: I see Dave already got this.

Its taken care of. I banned all his user names and removed his fake screenshots threads. This person posted fake screenshots calling them leaked WP 8.1 screenshots. Then with his other user name he had a conversation with himself. Both accounts are cleaned and PP banned.

LOL! I remember this one guy over at TreoCentral who would get into these heated arguments with this other person. Their posts were seconds apart on the same IP and he always claimed it was his wife. It was amazing they made the same grammatical and spelling errors. :amaze:

Yeah I finally got him in one he can't dispute. Don't get me wrong he is trying. that post was front line trolling. I have not decided if I am going to reply to his PM.

Seems like this same issue would have been a huge complaint from employees at Microsoft who repeatedly find themselves saying "Why the hell is this so hard and complex?".

They don't care. They're probably using iPhones & Androids.

I apologize. I certainly didn't mean to offend you. And I realize it was a bit harsh. I know that I often make digs at WP, but I am an avid user of WP. I actually own and use 2 of them, to 1 Android.

My post was very short. Which sentence warranted the infraction? Or both? FWIW, I didn't make that up about Microsoft employees using iPhones & Androids. It's true. I just shouldn't have mentioned it here! But saying that the employees don't care was out of line. I'm sure it was a false accusation. I do speak out of my backside sometimes!

Again, I apologize. It certainly wasn't my intent to troll. In fact, I'm not sure anymore what troll means. I thought I knew, but WPCentral defines trolling differently than the other Mobile Nations forums. My post was meant to be a lighthearted joke. I did take it a bit too far. I know that as a moderator you have authority here and I want to respect that.

I agree. If he really were honest and wanted to make a joke, he'd use emoticons or pictures. If there aren't any, then a post is meant to be serious. He's not new to forums, so he clearly knows that.

Here is the most important part of his PM to me.

His words not mine and unprovoked by me. Here is the point. To be trolling you have to prove intent.

If he had said something like "I often have issues with WP and post about them" then his commentary would be acceptable. That is not what he said here. He has stated for the record that he is intentionally taking shots at WP I HAVE to assume he is trolling. People who are here to help don't take digs at the OS they point out flaws. Go get him Eric/ Team.

If he takes off topic shots a WP I want him infracted for trolling. Make sure the content is not on par with the thread topic. Give him the infraction then send me a note about it.

If he PM's you after the infraction refer him to me.

He has stated before he gets defensive about android. Find a thread title with android in it and you can pretty much count on him posting in it. Like this one.

Yah he likes to push the Android That is not against the rules. If he pulls threads off topic to push his android agenda that is where we can go ahead and give the infraction. Based on his own comments he is intentionally taking shots a WP. That is not the type of behavior we want on WPC. Just take it post by post and remember we don't need to be able to prove intent.
