Person of interest thread

A895 is now permanently banned due to continual trolling. He never responded to my PM, nor did he respond to the infraction PMs I sent him.

k0de seems to have an issue with something. I never experienced him to be problematic in the past, so could he be drunk? I've issued warning for personal attacks and trolling, plus he posted a thread complaining about rules/mods, but he hasn't replied to the PMs in my warnings/infractions.

I *think* we stopped him.

We've got a member ("David Blake") looking for revenge.

I've been away for a couple months globetrotting and just found out you guys banned one of my accounts? WHY COME YOU DO THAT MUTHAFUC.KAS? WHY COME???!!!

PS: I HAVE SEVERAL MORE, CAN YOU FIND THEM ALL? BET YA CAN'T!

Trench Mouth has been permanently banned by branta as of yesterday and Will6371 is kinda mouthy in his reports.

I have no idea who that might be. I thought it was Jaskys, but Jaskys' IP is in Vilnius, Lithuania. This guy is in Hungary. I don't recall any banned members from Hungary.
I found IPs mapped to a TOR exit router. He could be anywhere in the world but I'll bet on North America from the time of posting.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly would we do with that knowledge, if we were to find out where the troll is from? Or going further, what would we do if we could link those troll accounts directly to Jaskys?

Looks like Jaskys is warming up again.

I did a Bing search on the name "Jaskys and Jaska"
This person is on a few gaming sites and Reddit and seems somewhat civil.
Looks to me like he/she/it comes here to challenge and try for infractions/banning.

One name search even showed the name located in Missouri (US) not the same person I think.

What do you do with the knowledge? Learn... and know it is automatically a shared IP so IP matching is useless as an investigation tool looking for multiple personalities.

There should be a TOR lookup at TorStatus - Tor Network Status if anyone wants to check suspicions.

Very likely he will be based in Lithuania, and certainly Lithuanian origins. I wouldn't waste time on a witch hunt, if he learns from his mistakes and keeps his head down he isn't a problem. If he returns and behaves as before he will attract unwanted attention soon enough.

True and understood.
Jaskys is just one of many troll types out there I'm almost sure we'll see this user in another persona.

He's gone permanently (235 points) following your report about the profanity. Yes, I'm familiar with common profanity in the UK. That particular word he used is not common in the US, but I follow enough British books, movies and music to be familiar with that term and probably all the other offensive terms common in the UK.
