Picolyrics - anyone using it?

I know it's only 79p so I would buy it straight away normally. However my 15 minute trail as been a mixed one. Only small concern is that the app hasn't been updated since Mango days. I'm not sure if it's still in development. I would rather pay a dev who will be working for WP8. I've heard nothing back from Picolyrics devs in last 5 days. Anyone have good experience using it for a long time?

I know the dev wanted about 100 beta testers and approached these forums back in the days. Any of those beta testers still rocking it?

Bought it ages ago, it's good for what it does. I wish it could double as normal lyrics app, i.e. scroll through the lyrics manually, but I can't knock it as a "karaoke app".

I wouldn't get it for WP8 if it isn't updated or openly planned to be updated.

That's my exact concern. The dev cant be contacted as such. The type of emails I found on google for this dev may not be correct. I'm skeptical. But it looks the best lyrics app out there which is ad free. I try and avoid all ad ridden apps on my phone else would have just settled with "Lyrics"

What about WP8 version: I don't have any WP8 devices, because my HTC HD7 rocks But I hope I'll by a new device soon, so be patient!
