Didn't always focus on the ball like I wanted.

I also just realized those are my last two photos pre-8779 update.

Pretty happy with the results so far, looks decently sharp with minimal noise in bright light. Low light performance is pretty lackluster, and the contrast is relatively low. However, it gets the job done.

Light outside, but curtains kept light from shining in... Seems as though Tango has improved the camera a lot and the shutter speed is increased.

IT'S TIME TO GET ZEISSY

Overall I think Nokia made some solid improvements to the camera. I wouldn't say they reinvented the wheel, but shutter speed, color reproduction, and image accuracy seems increased.

I think you may mean shutter lag, the shutter speed is the actual length of the exposure (eg: 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100 of a second, etc), while the shutter lag is the amount of time between pressing the shutter button and the camera taking the picture.

Business card closeup. The business card was sitting on my laptop. The room is dark.

All settings are auto. This is with the flash.

Same business card with auto settings--business card was sitting on my thigh, and I am wearing jeans.

Here's a tip for anyone trying to get the perfect macro shot. If the lens refuses the focus on the image in the foreground, place your hand behind the object you're trying to take a picture of. It will force the sensor to focus on the foreground and not the background.

Here's another tip. Remove your hand before taking the photo. :P

So I've been using 'high' contrast and 'low' saturation as my standard settings for a while now. I'm gonna switch to normal for both and see how I like it.
