Pictures / Video taken with your 1020

How about some gorgeous Alaska sky, a goofy cat, and my purse. No edits on any of them.

Proof that the 1020 is boss!!! Went to staples today and had this photo printed. The image print measures 22.5 x 17.

I tried to capture some natural colors and texture.

Wife wanted to go to the park, and I so happened to have my 1020 with me. I really haven't taken many photos with it yet, so this was a good chance to see what it could do. I really like the bokeh that the 1020 produces, very pleasing. The colors, as others have said, are a bit over saturated, but I have to be honest, I kind of like it.

I also noticed that the 5 mp images are subject to quite a lot more sharpening in-camera than the hi-res images, and as a result, are much sharper out of the camera. I've read that the 1020 suffers from corner softness, as many cameras do, and I was specifically looking for this. I do believe the "High Voltage" images are a bit soft around the edges/corners, but I'll have to experiment a bit more before making any assumptions. All images were processed in Photoshop - but all I did was apply some Unsharp Mask, a bit of cropping, and Auto Smart Fix. All in all, I think the images look pretty damned impressive for a camera phone.
