I didn't even notice. Everything I viewed the image in had a black background. Haha.

Form Creative Studio and/or Nokia Camera. You get these black borders when you reframe your photo and change the horizon.

Okay, I just upgraded from 925 to 1020. I am new in 1020. I have just tried few shots for testing.

First check the ZOOMING power at clear sun light.

I have never able to imagine such zooming power on a phone! The girl is at the far end!

Congratulations on your "upgrade". I hope you would have as much "fun" as we L1020 users did, especially the zooming part. You can improve on that shot even more by tinkering around with the settings (ISO 100, mainly for less grain), and then acquiring the latest firmware and app updates. My "zoomed" photos became less grainy after a few updates to Nokia Camera and with Cyan firmware.
