There's a link to my skydrive with day and night shots. Please tell me what you think of them! I think they look pretty damn good. I just returned my iPhone 5 yesterday for the 920. I hope I made the right choice! So far, the camera has been the killer feature for me :)

the blurring on the sides of many of these pictues worries me... the GS3 picture above doesn't have it at all... DO you think this is related to optics (i.e. manufactured hardware "fault") or part of the lacking firmware?

Video taken of a Tomahawk shoot on USS Sterett (go to 1:26 for the actual shoot and make sure you enable 1080)

My dark tortoise-shell cat is difficult to photograph well. In the past it always takes some post-processing to make her face and fur details adequately visible, but my 920 took a great shot with none of that needed. All auto settings, just point and shoot:

These are pictures from the LA Auto Show in town this week. I think I did pretty well, I noticed a difference between taking shots with the 2 stage shutter button compared to taking them by tapping the screen. So, from now on I will exclusively use tapping the screen. Also, if anybody can answer is it just me or is the Nokia panaroma App kind of funky? I'm used to the Titan's panaroma feature where its 3 dots and your done, this seems more complex compared to the Titan's.

Not sure if this will show, cos it's on facebook:

It was basically night time with no lighting except the artificial lights etc and the snow reflecting some of that. It's incredible where the 920 gets the light from :D

Also the first thing I tested with the camera is whether it's able to take a photo of a book with 2 pages open at readable quality. See, I'm a poor student who doesn't have the patience to use a copying machine, let alone pay for the copies :D It managed that test fine, probably better than my N8 simply due to the fact that it's the shaky/blurred pics that take the most time with this method when you have to retake the photo due to a little shaking in the hands, thank God for OIS! :D

Say hello to my little friend:

Nice- is that an FNX or FNP?

920 shots:

I just picked up a S&W M&P .40 earlier this week. Haven't gotten to take it to the range yet.

here's one of my cats; only point of illumination was a single 40W equiv LED bulb appx 6 ft away - sort of soft, but my hands are shaky.

too many remotes, lit by the same lamp as the cat.

and today, i got to leave my cave of an office and go outside for a half hour at work. yowza. white balance is a little wonky.

Definitely a lot more complicated to use than the panorama feature on the Titan...that one was quick and simple. I think that the Lumia version does a better job of stitching photos though...more seamless.

Here are a couple of shots I grabbed today. First was just messing around with the macro settings, second was a quick snap I took while driving

Looks like I lost some detail via photobucket...oh well!
