Plenty Wrong with Windows 10 Mobile

Cant agree with you on all points, some of these look better should be altered. At some places you are missing point that the same phone/OS is used by ppl who need details there (where you say 'its obvious, we know it'). So some of the stuff is like 'what I want to see' kind of, instead of saying it as 'its wrong in W10M'. just IMO.

One such example is of the Start preview, right? It's not only my opinion. You might be aware of a recent W10M concept by a Behance user. It also had the same opinion and people like it. Yes, I want to see W10M like that. But not only me. Few people have agreed on this point above you. Everyone has a opinion, no doubts. And I respect yours.

But now I see that whenever I say anything against W10M people tend to think I am criticizing it. I am not. It's my love for WP which makes me say it. I am not a person who would simply turn to Android or iOS or revert back to WP8.1 just because this OS doesn't make me contented. I was told several times not to buy a Windows Phone. My family and friends tried to convince me a lot to buy a competitive Android phone from Samsung or Xiaomi. My uncle even offered to buy me an iPhone 5S. But I rejected it sternly. I simply replied to all these people that "why do you want me to buy something which I hate so badly?". And finally I have my Lumia 830 with me. I am typing this reply on it itself

I is impressed with your loyalty towards the platform mate and to be honest except for the dead space (which isn't a big issue for me) I did not notice any of the other inconsistencies. My main wish was that we could achieve the same smooth and swift OS that we had with 8.1 and so far MS has delivered for me. The rest can always be fixed, but it would be insane to stick with this platform if we could never have the same speed and smooth sailing as we once did. I don't tolerate lag lol

btw leaving the platform doesn't make you a traitor. I have seen quite a few leave or just buy an extra phone for daily use while the lumia plays second fiddle. With all of the MS services or most of them anyways, readily available elsewhere, it's like you never left. On top of this, a lot of users have complained to MS that the ui is mostly inconsistent, but the teams have been slow to implement the changes or this is just mostly how it's going to be for now :/

True that leaving a platform doesn't make you a traitor. But I have seen many people simply bashing WP for its lack of apps, boring design, etc. and finally saying the fixed line "I am leaving WP". So leave. No one's going to beg for you to stay. So, I meant that I am not one of those.
