Podcast app will not update/refresh to all of 'todays' feeds.

I currently have 4 podcast apps on my Lumia 521 W8.1, and two podcast apps I use will not download all of "todays" episodes.

For example, I have some shows I like but on podcast they spread their program across multiple feeds.

some examples (these are a single days show):
hour 1, hour 2, hour 3
501, 502, 503, 504, 505, 506, 507

My app will only show the latest episode (ex: hour 3, and 507)

1 of the apps correctly updates with all the feeds, but I really do not like the interface/usability of the app. I like Podcast Critter, but it has this specific issue.
The 4th app is the built in one (because I know someone will mention it), but my search results come up empty (URLs are long), so I have yet to test it.

I'm just wondering why, or if anyone gets what I'm getting.

Podcast appears the most Beta of all apps. I imagine an update will be coming.

Well that was expected (imho), Microsoft is always buggy with their developments/betas. I only mentioned it because members are always bringing it up, with an exclamation point at the end of their sentence!

I wouldn't even update my phone to 8.1, but I'm on the fence about replacing it with an Android and wanted to try out 8.1.
