Review REDFLY and get some SWAG

review

I probably don't represent the typical demographic for this site. I'm older, in my fifties, a senior executive, VP of Ops at our 2.5 billion in sales family corporation and can pretty much approve my own tech toys at whatever level I want. I travel constantly by car and air and just hated two things about my state of the art desktop replacement Dell notebook pc. It takes three minutes, yes, really, three of them, to boot up and almost two minutes and several "must click" error windows to shut down. That is useless in airports and agravating everywhere else.

When I saw the Redfly I thought, instant on and full size PDF and Office attachment viewing. So I just bought it myself, and I love it. I am on it right now at home. I'd be happy to review it and have posted a number of supporting forum posts because of three features. Outrageous battery life, instant on, and control of my enterprise applications back in the office (that never worked acceptably through VPN but work flawlessly via LogMeIn).

It isn't just easier to carry than a notebook it is also more powerful via remote control software and you don't even have to pack that obscene ginormous Dell power brick. Thanks Colllin and Celio. This is the sweetest device available right now. Oh and that is all said even though I am using a PPC 6800 slowgul mogul. As soon as you guys get the Touch Pro drivers finished I will really be able to fly with this thing by upgrading my phone. Cuz

i did a review that's currently running on two seperate sites. who do i need to speak with to aquire my swag?

Posting my reviews at Amazon, here and on my own site. I received mine last week. Its been great using it. I specialize in providing very small companies with advanced technology including mobile access. I've had the opportunity to test popular laptop formats including the new netbooks. The hassle of maintaining a laptop operating system, syncing data, the weight/heat, waiting for bootups and high cost kept me from ever buying one for myself.

I concluded a few years ago that a screen and keyboard for the phone would be the way to go. I had no idea it could be done as nicely as Celio has done with the Redfly. Open it, press the bluetooth button on the Redfly keyboard and a second later I'm checking email and calendar, entering billing items, remoting to customer servers and looking up things on the net. It was a surprise that the performance over bluetooth would be so snappy.

I got my shirts today!

Thank you very much ckj! I might have to order another Redfly just to have an excuse to post another review. :D

RedFly Reviews

Well I did a rating on WMExperts (didn't let me enter a text description). I did enter a review on Amazon (Under T. Smith).

Would be interested in a shirt......

I just posted a review over on Amazon under one of our office's accounts (listed as W. Utermoehlen "MoUser"). I couldn't help but give it glowing marks...

Thanks for a great product!

hey thats realy cool you relly have you some redfly swag with your pic and everything. That is so cool keep up the great work.

If you haven't received your swag by now send me a PM through WMexperts. I believe the last of the known items were shipped out last week (for everyone who I had full contact info for). I've contacted a few people with requests for some missing info (addresses etc.) but haven’t heard back from everyone.

BTY, we’re out of executive pens and almost out of Polo Shirts. We have plenty of T-shirts and 1GB flash drives. We hopefully will have more Polo Shirts sometime soon.

I posted my review on Amazon last week. I would be interested in a thumb drive, if you still have some.

Thanks,

Russell

Apparently what I thought was my review was actually feedback about the seller. I have posted a review on Amazon (correctly) under the name R.Monast.

Thanks.

I replied a couple of weeks ago and no reply? Your product, once again is great. I use the little wonder at job sites everyday. It is so nice to be able to see all the apps. By the way, your customer service is a mark above excellent also. They know the product and are very helpful. Good job to one and all!

posted about 2 weeks ago and have no reply yet. No big deal just bumping the thread up. Still would love a nice pen or thumbdrive.
