Side to USB plug stuck in port

Hi I have a surface 3 and the black side to a USB stick has stuck in the port and broken off. How should I get it out?
Is there any such thing as a USB extension adaptor that plugs onto the power or headphone port?

Turn the PC off, pull the battery, pull it straight out, not up and down, not side to side, straight out. Do not damage the USB socket any further than you already have.
Search for an adapter todo what you want.
