I had the same problem. I'll be damn if I can remember what the problem was. I will message you the solution when I remember. It was something simple my brain just doesn't work as well as it should.

try this:
1. Unpin store tile
2. Delete IE cache
3. Soft reset phone (hold down power and vol down keys for about 10 secs)
4. Re-pin store tile
5. Wait for at least a day because the store app checks for updates once a day.

i did this yesterday but i still dont see the updates on the store tile.
