I didn't want to go back to WP 8 just to update to Cyan but I was having problems with Onedrive photos and thought what the hey, it's a Sunday and I can do that while not that busy.
I am glad I did that, firstly I had to do it twice cause I didn't choose to restore from my backup thinking I can do it again, so it's one thing you should do if you want everything the same way. But I did still loose some info and pics that were in APPS and it's OK. It now said the back up was only 40mb, where previously was 300MB, so I went to one drive and you have to go to GET MORE STORAGE and then you are able to see all your backups, I deleted the one made today thinking that it only backs up one. But when I reset my phone it gave me an option of the one from yesterday when I made and one from DEC 2013 which I don't even have in my one drive. BUT it all worked out ok.
The great new is that I have a Lumia 1520, which I absolutely love and had since November 2013, but it's unlocked and running on Tmobile, so I couldn't get Internet sharing to work, despite all efforts from Tmobile, the phone being an ATT was not working till now.
Updating and resetting the phone seems to have change that and Now I can use Internet sharing which is great because my Dell Tablet which has no connection without Wi-Fi can now be used and I have unlimited data, although past 1 gig it's slow, but I am always using Wi-Fi everywhere I go and don't need that much data anyways, I really wanted it for sharing unto my tablet.
All I can say is lumia 1520 and Tmobile is a great combo and I am glad they are going to be offering it soon because it's absolutely amazing phone for my business use and it's made everything so easy for me. I hardly need my tablet now or my laptop because this damn phone is just so amazing, I have 32GB SD card so I have all my music and photos there and I am either on blue tooth headset or in the car so I use the phone about 300 times more than I used my ATT Lumia900 (which was a disaster).
I LOVE LOVE windowsphone and there is nothing better, specially the 1520........ I feel sad for people who have and apple and stuck on that forever, I gave mine up 3 years ago and I am soooooooooo glad I did. I had 250 apps on it, although when I checked my apps today on windows phone it sayd 458 !! It's mostly from the 900 days when I tried some, I just really don't understand why there is not more people on these and why the apps developers are not supporting it.
I have notice there is a bunch of new apps even UBER is on here now, so I think the tide is about to change, can't wait till the day I get a quantum Windows phone in my hand and do some space traveling with it. LOL
WP Central ROCKS by the way
