W10M release dates? Answers inside...

For Lumia 920, things are clear and M$ is coming back on its words...
Don't wait for W10M on this device, it will NEVER come in final release...
I feel it will be the same for x20 (except 1520) and x25 devices

this is what the Microsoft websites tells us the latest version of windows 10 on lumia 730 . but what we got is 10586.164 . is something wrong here?

Initial Observations post update
So i have updated my 640XL to .164 build via OTA and have been playing with it for a few hours. Here are a few initial observations

1. Mobile has become slow
2. Store takes long time to open, updating apps is taking ages.
3. UI looks smooth and good but mobile has a little lag overall while navigating.

I will post more observations in 48 hours.

My 640 was a bit laggy and slow too. Scrolling webpages and typing felt clunky.
A soft reset fixed all of that.

W10M just doesn't work well on the 512 MB phones. I've tried multiple times and given up every time. 8.1 works well. Microsoft should continue support in 8.1 OS/apps/updates for not only the 512 MB phones but also for users who have problems or just don't like W10M.

I made a quick factory reset on 8.1 before update.

This is the most recent version of Windows10 for Mobile. I love how the tiles zoom at you, Windows10 for Phone feels like a Phone OS, more so then Windows Phone 8.1.

What's the "non" OTA method?

Your carrier, imagine waiting for Windows Phone 10 from you carrier you would have waited till June or July 2016 for Windows Phone 10.

I hope to buy soon, how soon I don't know yet but the 940XL, extremely pleased with Windows Phone 10.

Windows Phone doesn't have the apps, but common, anything about 45 app tiles and you will never use those, hundreds of apps on your phone as in the case with Apple or Android. I don't need a phone to help me cross a road, that is where Apple and Android come in, help make you stupid, not productive as Microsoft Phones.

On my country 10.0.13080.107 is the final version too.

The OS still reports version 10.0.10586.164 after install all updates. so that's not related to the OS build or it is a typo...
