WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I dunno. I kept the S9 for 4 months. I like it enough to be my daily driver. Hence the trade up to the S10.
99 + dailv drivers = teens in dating relationships (time equivalency, that is).

Well, we will see. I did like the S9 in the same way I liked the Note 5 - good enough to tempt me, but somehow never truly did.

Still shifting through my LG feelings. I know I'll keep one my stable, just trying to see which one (G7+, V35, V40).

Ooh that's a tough choice. I wish you good luck.
For you, it makes sense for you to have one LG in your rotation.

I think my last couple of daily driver devices have stayed longer with me than your daily drivers. But I have a spare line for my device switching itch.

And somehow you didn't even cave with the Pixel until much later, which is impressive considering how loyal you are to the line.

I'd respectfully disagree, as I may have owned my last pairs longer but went back and forth between the two. I actually used the Pixel 2 as my daily a lot longer than you did with the S9.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with spitting devices. The trick with LG these days is to never buy them early. In theory, I'd get the G8 with the triple camera setup. Same footprint as design as the G7 with the extra lens. But since LG did the region dependent bull****, I wouldn't be surprised if the US variant got the dual camera setup.

The g7's design has grown on me. The v40 isn't that much bigger and the the V35 still has that design I like the best of the 3. If I could do a deal of a G7+ and a little cash for an XZ3 and grab a V35 while I wait on the N 9 to get affordable, then I would.

If my memory is correct, I used a Pixel exclusively from Dec 16 to Nov 17 and Pixel 2/XL from Nov 17 to Nov 18 when I used the Mate 10 Pro for 2 weeks before I got the S9. My spare line let's me play with more devices though. I never got around to fully switching to the Pixel 3/XL this cycle.

I think between Nov 16 and Nov 18 you've switched to more daily devices.

I had two of each Pixel 3/XL but never got around to fully switching over this cycle. I helped out a few friends (three) and flipped one on Swappa.

I will try to rectify that in the next few weeks. But to do that I would need to jettison the Xr. And I am not sure how well work stuff plays on Pixel.

In theory, we are only supposed to drink milk as babies - mother's milk, no less. Anything else (animal based milks, that is) after that just has the potential to mess with your constitution.
Very true.

Also keeping in mind that cows milk is for baby cows. Specifically evolved to help a calf grow as quickly as possible and put on weight. All the hormones etc.

It's not really compatible with our bodies.

We are the only mammal that drinks other mammal's milk and the only mammal to drink milk past the weening stage.

We're a bit odd that way

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

While I said what I said, I learned something and realized something else that changed everything for me on this matter.

I just learned that when ordering the S10e (unlocked) from Samsung with education discount, you get a gift card which is equal to the cost of the buds. This wasn't available before. Additionally, what I stacked (.edu discount, and trade in value) works too well here to pass it up. (I now see why 99 did it the way that he did with the S10+.)

I also realized that I strongly dislike the curved screen of the S9 last night. I have avoided curved screens all of this time and I will continue to.

I'm going to try the S10e. By the time it comes, I'll be rolling into my break so I will have time to handle all of the adjustments. I'm looking forward to it, and it actually worked out to be even cheaper than the last iPhones I bought were.

Wow it's so easy to assume that everyone does the mandatory daily things just like you do.

Watched a video with a simple question: do you brush your teeth with toothpaste before or after breakfast?

In the comments, I assumed that my view would be shared. I was wrong...

Which one is your view? Also, everyone thinks they're an expert and their view matters... It's social media after all.

From my understanding it's better to brush after a meal than before. This is partially due to the fact that brushing your teeth can expose them to the acids in your food which can cause tooth decay. Toothpaste takes time to act.

The other thing that most people don't know is that you're not supposed to completely rinse your mouth out. You should leave some paste behind to help create a barrier. When I say some I don't mean a mouth full.

I remember learning this stuff in school. I guess they don't teach it anymore?

At work I have not one but two foreign languages spoken around me. Not that I care but it really messes with my picking up French.

The other language is Italian. I'm working for an Italian company and we have some expats over.

Needless to say they're both hard to learn.

That's true about viewpoints.

If I remember correctly, what I know was taught by my parents and the dentist later on. My view is before actually, when it comes to the first meal. I remember being told that the enamel is exposed for a short period of time (~20ish minutes) so it's important to wait a little bit to eat after brushing. I can't remember if this applied to eating and then brushing or brushing and then eating, but yep.

The reason for brushing before eating (1st thing in the morning, that is) from what I recall is that things go on in your mouth while you are sleeping (which I was told from a dentist). When you let it stay and then eat, that isn't the best.

Thought the other question would be do you brush your teeth before going to bed, or next morning??
:excited:

Wow that does sound like it can be tough because I'm guessing that they don't share much similarities. (please correct me if I'm wrong.)
