WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Paper is done, thankfully!

It is funny in an annoying way that I uninstalled Instagram to focus and since reinstalling it, it refuses to open. It keeps crashing. So I guess I'll be about the browser life.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

My YouTube Premium trial is ending soon so I have to find a way to watch all of the originals I'll like to watch. Not many, but I have 3 documentaries and two series.

YouTube Premium is nice but since I have no interest in the music part, $12 is not worth it for me.

That's why it pays to have cool buds that host plex server movies and shows...

We are currently going through Krypton season 1..

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So as I mentioned I have a bunch of pictures to post.

I'll start by showing the RAW photo and the end edited photo. This isn't the actual RAW as it would never upload to the thread.

So some outside pictures first. Most won't have any editing aside from a small crop.DSC_0249-01.jpgDSC_0254-01.jpgDSC_0240-01.jpg

Interior pictures. All of these needed some form of editing. I also used wide angle on one.DSC_0277-01.jpgDSC_0263-01.jpgDSC_0264-01.jpg

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I decided to try the wire angle on the chapel with mixed results. I should have taken more time.DSC_0282-01.jpg

Lastly we stopped by Amboise in the way home. It's where Leonardo da Vinci lived and was buried. We didn't go to his house but plan to. There's also a very large chateau there and this rather nice gelato place that has a unique way of serving.DSC_0289-01.jpgDSC_0286-01.jpg

So the watch isn't playing nice with the Mate 20 Pro. Not surprising, really. The only mistake I made was taking the one UI update on the watch prior to testing out the notification. Calls come through just fine, but nothing else.

I'm still going to take it with me on the trip. I think it'll run better on the V35. Still, this does make me pause with the gear sport. I'll still fix it if possible but if I'm still having issues, I'll just Wear OS only on the Mate 20 Pro.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

On the one hand, they fixed it quickly (30 minutes on a weekend with how they work is nothing to sneeze at). On the other hand, if this happened in rush hour, it'd be a massive, unadulterated cluster****.

This is happening as the MTA is doing a massive restructuring of its operating systems internally. The transit expert Andy Byford, who did yeoman work with Toronto and London's systems, may lose some of his power to continue the solid work he's done with the NYC subways.

Typical NYS backroom politricks at at work here.
Here's some more context for my commentary on the MTA.

I plugged in parts of my old and current. commute. When I was in NJ, during rush hour I'd hope to get to Penn Station from work in 30 minutes. Very rarely it happened, as it was usually 45 minutes. In the old days when I used to do my current commute, this was 60 minutes standard during rush hour.

I'd suggest people plug in my commutes go see the variance and additional information the article provides. It's an interesting read for sure. Some stuff is better, much of it is perception, and all of it should be improved but the backroom politricks usually gets in the way. @N_LaRUE, those are lovely photos. I sure would like to visit that site.
If you make your way to France and want to see chateau the best thing to do is to spend a few days in Tours (the 's' is not pronounced).

It's basically the epicenter of the Loire Valley. You can get tours from there or you can rent a car and drive to several chateau.

From Tours the most popular chateau will be from 30 mins to 1 hour away.

You can get a train to Tours from Paris. You wouldn't want to rent a car or drive from Paris.
