I plugged in parts of my old and current. commute. When I was in NJ, during rush hour I'd hope to get to Penn Station from work in 30 minutes. Very rarely it happened, as it was usually 45 minutes. In the old days when I used to do my current commute, this was 60 minutes standard during rush hour.

I'd suggest people plug in my commutes go see the variance and additional information the article provides. It's an interesting read for sure. Some stuff is better, much of it is perception, and all of it should be improved but the backroom politricks usually gets in the way. View attachment 140985View attachment 140986

I'm not sure about Toronto but the London Tube is generally ok though really over crowded. The trains going into London are a whole other matter.

I don't miss my long commute I did in the UK. It was a sacrifice to own a house. The hour to work and the typically 90 minutes home were exhausting.

I figured you'd go technical and I wasn't disappointed...

Exploitation is still a thing as we all know. Slavery still exists. Working for all living is a form of slavery and probably the closest to that is in the USA which has some of the worst employment laws. The UK is not far behind though and taking a stab will be on par if not worse than the USA once Brexit hits.

Thanks. I still have things to sort out and need more time.

HDR really helps in bright conditions but so does changing the exposure.

The auto setting is good but not for difficult situations.

Exploration is still a thing as we all know. Slavery still exists. Working for all living is a form of slavery and probably the closest to that is in the USA which has some of the worst employment laws. The UK is not far behind though and taking a stab will be on par if not worse than the USA once Brexit hits.

This is going to be a very interesting experience.

I say this because it's because we are vacationing in a place where most of the people are melanin deficient. On the one hand, people are individuals and should in theory be judged on their own merit via interactions. One the other hand, this is the one part of my job or my ethnic group I don't get to escape - walking into a space where I get to be sized up initially based on my melanin content.

So yeah, like the Gear S3 classic a lot so far. And nope, it ain't playing nice with the Mate 20 Pro. Cannot wait to reset it when I get back.

Just realise I stopped watching TV for almost three weeks. A personal record of sorts.
The only time I use the TV is to plug in the pendrive to watch some movie... which were Dark City and Spitfire...!!

Yeah I get that. May the positives continue to work out for you two.

I'm not trying to harp on the issue here as that never helps. It's just that the people who tend to not want to eveny acknowledge the issue are typically those whose privileges offer them the choice.

Freedom is always relative. No one is 100% free. Even those in privilege who think they are, aren't.
