I don't miss my long commute I did in the UK. It was a sacrifice to own a house. The hour to work and the typically 90 minutes home were exhausting.
I'm not sure about Toronto but the London Tube is generally ok though really over crowded. The trains going into London are a whole other matter.Here's some more context for my commentary on the MTA.

I plugged in parts of my old and current. commute. When I was in NJ, during rush hour I'd hope to get to Penn Station from work in 30 minutes. Very rarely it happened, as it was usually 45 minutes. In the old days when I used to do my current commute, this was 60 minutes standard during rush hour.
I'd suggest people plug in my commutes go see the variance and additional information the article provides. It's an interesting read for sure. Some stuff is better, much of it is perception, and all of it should be improved but the backroom politricks usually gets in the way. View attachment 140985View attachment 140986
