I'm totally with you on this. I get the move towards the narrow displays for the sake of media consumption but they could've spared the 5" and under models. I loved the XZ2 Compact form factor but typing on a small 18:9 display was nearly impossible for me. Needless to say I had it for only a day or two.I'm not a fan of how the industry has moved to big screen devices. I get why, because lots of people consume media over long distances.
I still prefer those pocket rockets. Which is why I didn't mind the Pixel 4 size. I just didn't like the super small battery and the iPhone style biometrics.

So the herd is thinning. I wish I was in a position to drop $500 million on a campaign that may not go anywhere, but if you can recover that wealth, then all it is was a lost investment.
Let's see if this becomes an ugly two horse race by next week, which I sadly think it will.
You're aware that on Team Elephant there's a second candidate besides D. John T. the incumbent? He's in the same boat as this one on Team Jackass you just mentioned.I feel like it would too. I'm surprised that Gabbard is still in the race though.
It took you two days before you put it through the wall, eh?I'm totally with you on this. Nah, it was a nice phone. The LG G6 which started the whole narrow display got that honor. Not so much because of the display width but because of the horrific battery life on top of that.It took you two days before you put it through the wall, eh?
LG's battery life has been US politics like questionable based on how they tune their screens for the past few years, so don't blame you for putting phone into arm and phone through wall based on battery life.Nah, it was a nice phone. There has to be a better way for LG. I had a brief fling with a V30 recently, I may have mentioned it here, and I'll be damned if that wasn't one of the nicest displays I've ever been around. This XZP has a pretty good one too and the power button/FPS is something I've always loved since I had the XZ. Yes, I have the International model and yes, reception blows like Donald John's hair in the wind. Put the US firmware in for VoLTE and I lose the FPS though. Not gon' do it, wouldn't be prudent.LG's battery life has been US politics like questionable based on how they tune their screens for the past few years, so don't blame you for putting phone into arm and phone through wall based on battery life.
I agree. I feel like what I have is the best option, but it sucks that they chose not to continue with it.
That new iPhone is suppose to launch soon (this month I think). Any plans to look into it based on form factor?
It's supposedly going to be 399 and come in 6 different skus (color options). I'm not sure on the size though.I will for sure, provided that it is smaller than the iPhone 11 Pro/XS/X.
Also the pricing has to be reasonable for me as well.
The V30 was a nice phone. V35 is a light improvement, really. Well, hope you enjoy the XZP. I kinda want to try a XZ2P but not really because it's still too expensive. There has to be a better way for LG. I suspect it'll be as big as the iPhone 6-8.This price sounds great. I guess we'll find out the size. For me, that makes the difference between buying or not buying.
