Just waiting for the case to arrive. Picked up one of those clear armor skins for the back of the V50 as well. It'll cover the pogo pins for the dual screen, but that's OK as I was never interested in that functionality really.

Picked up a used Wacom pen too. Wanted one with battery built in but I went cheap. At this point, all I want is maybe a bigger memory card and some decent weather. I'll take a few walks once the transfer is done to shoot some test shots. I'm hopeful that Samsung has updated the galaxy watch plug in so it still works on 10.

So I'll be brutally honest here: I have a certain level of privilege working for a hospital, and that has been useful when it comes to filtering information during the pandemic.

It's been helpful where the hospital has been relatively transparent with the information provided by updates. I'm seeing much more people in higher leadership than ever before. You know stuff is getting done to take care of patients and staff. While there are some politics within the institution I may never agree with, I respect the fact that I get access to good information where I can draw my own conclusions personally on navigation of this pandemic.

So I don't have to watch the news as much or even use social media as key sources of medical updates. The amount of out there passing as information is crazy and deadly in many cases. I wish everyone had this level of access because what it has done for me is ensure I critically think in the right way when filtering information for both professional and personal use.

The only thing I'm lusting after right now is the sennheiser HD 599. Had them on my watch list for a year now. While I can buy them now, I'm still waiting. Other than that, there's nothing else for me. I'm more interesting in paying down a few things and positioning to get a bigger space or a secondary work space. Tech stuff is still fun enough to read but it's getting more fatiguing now.

It sounds like you have everything planned out. I hope everything goes the way you want it to.

So I'm watching Juan and TK bay discuss the SE 2020. I'm very excited to get the SE 2020 and use it as the primary side business phone. Now if I were being more practical, the iPhone 11 (or iPhone 11 pro) would be the smarter long term buys.

But...

One of the nice things with the job being cheap is that the 6S (and SE2) are smaller devices than the Androids I carry around. Which makes wielding two phones easier. If I'm still in a position where I have to carry a job issued phone, an SE as a smaller third phone is more manageable to tote along. As much as I like using the Mi 9, that will be on IT back up duty with iPhone as the primary devices. Eventually, I want a professional social media footprint and managing that on mobile is better currently with an iOS device. Plus if things take off I can upgrade to a more capable hardware from Apple later.

Thanks. I think it will all be fine. Being confined to home thanks to COVID-19 has reminded me abruptly the need to just go ahead and get on with the things I wanted to do. So while yes, it was a needless expense to acquire all these devices, the cost to fully get the itch out of my system was worth it so I can fully transition to some other stuff with a clear conscience.

I don't know, I just think he's a giant ego-maniac, that's it. Too rich and powerful to ever have his ideas questioned.
He seems to hit several of these...

Common signs of cocaine use include:

Dilated pupils

Long periods of wakefulness

Loss of appetite

Overconfidence

Over-excitement

Paranoia

Runny nose or frequent sniffles

White powder around nostrils

Legal issues

Missing or being late to work

Financial problems

Mood swings

Irritability

Depression

Not sure he's a complete addict. Seen him sniffle a few times. He's had a lot of financial issues... Still does...

But yes, a complete megalomaniac. He's not a nice person by any stretch which he learnt from his father.

However, he's not as smart and definitely is suffering from mild dementia. Truth is he should be removed from office due to health but he's a useful ***** for the GOP.

His popularity is almost at that point where they might start to think he's more harm than good... However they're going to do their best to rig the election I'm sure.

How anyone can vote for this guy is beyond me or listen to his ramblings for more than two minutes.

Nothing he's said is worthy of historical documentation though I'm sure someone will make him look better than he was. Like Regan or Bush (either one).

Sadly, the USA is a mess. In general, people are good. I have little doubt you could generally have a decent conversation with most people, just not politics or religion.

It's a toxic environment there sadly.

As subjective as it is, in hand feel is something that's hard to ignore. Having used it for a while, I was dead on with the Mi 9 - it's not going anywhere. I appreciated the in hand feel of the Mate 20 Pro, that's staying. The Pixel 3XL was like "yeah, I get it - iphone Plus style feel", so that stays. The V50 has the "yeah, that's just works" feel which is what I'm always looking for. HTC 10, Nokia 9 Pureview, and V35 has that as well. So did the G7. The S10+ has that "I could use this as well" feel to it whenever I pick up the GF's.

I think it's why I prefer to tell people, feel it in hand first before you decide as you usually know what you're looking for for.

He cannot be "missing or late to work" when one can argue he's never worked a day in his life...

For your use case, I really can see it working very well for you. It would just be a matter of if it can keep up (in battery).

That's a great way to look at this. It is truly worth it.

You are so correct about this. It does make a big difference. I see that with the SE2. And then all of the devices you have listed are so different!

It should be fine. I say that because for work, I run everything through my work issued phone communications wise.

Nobody who really wants to get in touch with me consistently does so through the desk phone at work. I had one client who passed away was the only person who would consistently call me on the desk phone, even though she had both numbers and knew I was more accessible on the work phone. Outside of that, everyone reaches me on the iPhone.

The only difference I'd have a few more social media apps to use...even with that though I think the battery should do what I want. I'll likely buy a fast charger as Apple is cheap, but it supports wireless charging and that will help.

They all are very different, but have the one common theme - "they hit the general in hand feel for what works for me". That allows them, in addition to their feature set, to remain in the collection. I'm just not going to buy a device with a good feature set where in hand feel is garbage. I do like to use my items.

You couldn't have missed it if you watched the debates with Hillary. His nose was beet red and he was constantly sniffling. Unfortunately most were transfixed with his stalking behind her to have noticed.
