Summer here is going to be so...odd...I'm not looking forward to it, to be honest. This is the first time ever I can say I'm not looking forward to a summer.

Well, I'm still enjoying the combo of the Pixel 3XL and LG V50. Haven't had an itch for anything else since, really. My only wish was that the Pixel was a 128GB variant.
I'm pretty satisfied with what's in the stable. I can make a case for other things, but really don't need them. If I were honest, I could get by with these as the only two phones if I really had to cut down and move everything out. Just goes to show where Android is that I'd require two phones to cover all my preferences. Sigh.

So last night was a beautiful sunset.

Here's three pictures just a few minutes apart. Just goes to show how quickly things can change.

Well my internet is down again...

Hopefully it's a small issue...

Apparently, not definitive, the ultra left is behind cutting the cables.

The indecent I had before was done by someone who knew where to cut the cable. So either someone in the company or someone who's gained knowledge.

Oh, and the world isn't really a cleaner place now that we're off the streets. Because, you know, it's not really those plastic straws in our juice that are poisoning the air and water, but all the factories and companies out there that are "self-regulating".
Agreed about that but to be clear, plastic is petrochemical product. All plastics.

The idea is to get rid of single use plastic. All of it. That's the stuff everything is wrapped in when you go to the grocery stores or the bags you get or whatever you buy that gets thrown away after you're done with it.

Why? Well they don't biodegrade quickly.

They get into the ocean and kill sea life. It then gets made into micro plastics which are ending up in our food chain.

That's just one part of things. That's not accounting for synthetic clothing which releases micro plastics when wash them or even simply walk in the street. Which means you breath that in if they're a lot of people.

It's actually even more fun watching reviews now to see what's out there and not trying to feed the Granby parts of being an enthusiast. Still, I'm loving the look of the OPPO Find X2 Pro. That's a Flex phone. $1300 though? It would be really good on vacations...pair the vegan leather one with a gold galaxy watch active 2...

I'd still rather swap out my Mate 20 Pro and get the porsche edition in black instead. That still has Qi and reverse wireless charge with leather accents.

Had biscoff before and liked that.
Bischoff and speculoos is the same thing. It's called Bischoff in the USA/UK by the brand Lotus and speculoos in Europe.

Speculoos biscuits are very popular all over Europe. Lotus is very popular but there are generic brands.

The spread is really good too. We first ran across it in Belgium (where it originates) in Ghent a few years back.

We followed a recipe but found a couple of things not to our liking so when/if we try this again we'll do some things differently.

My current French client put me on to it. Tasty stuff.
