So to use a typical meme to discribe what it's like here....

Germany: we've eased lockdown and noticed our R number is going up...

France: hold my Bordeaux.

Ok last one for a bit.

You may have heard of a viral video making the rounds. I won't name it or the person who's in it.

What I can tell you is pretty much everything said in it is total BS.

If you're at all interested in a full takedown of it and the person in it then have a read of this Link there's a link to the video at this site if you're interested.

Unfortunately there's a lot of people who believe this person and the stuff they say. To the point their book became a number one best seller on Amazon.

Hello everyone,
Decided to fire up the old Lumia 925. Using the browser to post this. Swyping is a joy on this device even after almost 6 years. Most apps are gone. WC app is available but clunky and pretty much inoperable. I'm going to see if I can post an image via the browser.
Cool.. what OS is it on? Denim or WM10? Must admit, the 925 made my 920 look like, erm, a brick. haha
How about posting some shots, wordSpy?
I still do use my 830 (browsing, music jukebox) and 950XL (photography) occasionally..

I'm actually like most people given what's happening with COVID-19. I'd like to see much of the restrictions eased.

I'm also very realistic about it all. Without any vaccine, the next few months is like Russian roulette. It doesn't help I live in America where it's such a cluster****.

Same here. I'd like to get back to my routines, but certainly not for any price.
I just hope some of these relaxations won't cause a greater spike in infected.

If Germany is heading for a second wave I doubt many other countries in Europe have much hope...

We could have a decent return to 'normal' but too many people just don't care. For too many end of lockdown meant virus is gone...

I'm hoping second wave isn't bad but it's possible it could be worse.

Current statistics don't help mentality either. It's an old person's disease...

There was always going to be a surge in cases without a long term therapy - vaccine - in place. It was how we handled these surges in the interim that's the key.

It's going to be a continued show here.

The USA is going to hurt big time.

I guess that's the price of the type of economy we have.

Just deal with the sickness. If you die, oh well. At least the rich are getting richer...

Oh, we'll get ravaged here for sure. I'm just understandably concerned. I'll do what I need to do, it's just the wild wild west style response here just makes an unsafe situation even worse.

A long day... took my missus to a couple of hospital clinics for her regular reviews. It should have it done couple of months back, but with the darn thing moving about, she kept postponing the appointments cos she didn't want to be in crowded enclosed spaces, like hospitals
Thing is, all Covid patients are treated in the main GH, but we had several cases where someone sick came to smaller clinics for treatment, but deny or did not truthfully say they had been in close contact with people in high risk groups or even confirmed covid patients. It's perplexing why they do that, they are stupid for putting the frontliners and other people lifes in danger.
Anyway, her day went well. Now I have to do something similar for my own appointments.
Oh, most shops, restaurants and cafe have have reopen for dine in. I decided on a takeaway. I had my first proper cappuccino after two months... Sorry no pictures, but it did happened.

Lockdowns, MCO,.. etc etc.. whatever you do wherever you go.. just keep in mind the 3Cs
1. No... Close contacts
2. No... Congestion/crowded people
3. No... Confined spaces
.. wear the bloody mask when going outside, and keep safe..

I have no problem doing these things.

The point I've been hammering at is that many of the people in my community in one of the hardest hit places on Earth still have issues following these guidelines.

"I ain't worried about me, I'm worried about the covidiots I am likely to encounter."

Caffes could be opened by 15th May here. I'm getting that coffee, even if I have to drink it in my car, I will.

Just a small point.

I posted an article a couple of days ago.

Wearing a mask outside is mostly pointless. If you're sick that's different, but if you're healthy not required. Your unlikely to get anything just waking by someone. If they sneeze or cough on you that's a different story (if they do please hurt them, they deserve it) but in general you won't get infected just wandering around.

Infection = viral amount + exposure time

Covid-19 is not an airborne virus. It takes droplets of a certain amount to get into your system to infect you.

That's why being inside is where you need the mask. Especially if you're in there for more than 30 minutes.

There is the other issue that people are asymptomatic for 2-4 days and about 20 -50% who won't show any signs they have it.

Fun times.
