925 design wise was so far ahead of the other device makers. I'm glad I still have one as a museum piece.
If only they made it bigger storage to go with that camera with "the glass lens".. only the 16GB model was sold in my region...
that said, the1520 tops all the Lumias I owned.

The US has done it's fair of serious in it's short history. But blaming US for every problem in the world is beyond me.

As many of you know, once there was a country called Yugoslavia. Economically and military wise it was a strong country. But unfortunately, those two don't necessarily translate to a nice place to live. Ans it kind of wasn't.

Now, I'm no idealist, but there were few freedoms there (freedom of religion and speech were very questionable, almost non existent), and the population had a low quality of life. Quick example: if you were lucky, you could maybe, just maybe find a few bananas in a store once a month or two. And they were not your regular stores in most cases, but like government centers where they sell you the food they think you should be eating.

You should also know that the country dissolved in the 90s. Everyone with their own good (as a matter fact great) reason. As for my country, it was the biggest one one nation could have.
We were denied of our identity, language, history, borders, religion and many others (including things going as far as back to the end of Ottoman Empire, but I'll skip that). So that's why we split up.

Then we got attacked by neighbours, both from our country and most importantly from Serbia. You should also know how that ended, nothing special, just a genocide.

And people have the courage and audacity to blame their own hatred and nationalism on the US. I definitely don't know what the plans behind the doors of the great powers were (they had a big role in the war, that's a fact), but I'm sure it wasn't the American people bombing and slaughtering us.

A stupid Youtube comment provoked me, because it's something I see on a daily basis, no matter the media.

Aren't most YouTube comments stupid?? I mean it's a quagmire of often abusive comments on YouTube or any open social media account.

As for blaming everything on the USA. That's a hard one. There's lots of counties with power who purposely disrupt political power systems for their own purposes. The USA, Russia now China and others are guilty of this.

The USA is definitely guilty of putting it's fingers in things it shouldn't. Often with horrible consequences.

Whether they had anything to do with what happened in your country or that area I don't know but wouldn't be surprised if they did.

They did, but not in the context they're trying to put it. International community with UK and US as the leaders allowed for many things to happen during that war.

But what the aggressors are trying to do is to wash their hands on somebody elses account. This very revisionism is the core problem of this area and the reason why things never change.

And yeah, all social media comment sections are a cesspit, but now and then I fall for it.

Ah, revisionism.

My favourite....

UK and USA are the kings of this. Australia is also guilty of this and I'm sure other countries, France, Canada, etc do this as well to some extent.

The government in power will determine what they want to whitewash. Then depending on successive governments if it sticks.

Of course, the USA and UK played their part probably by weapons and intelligence gathering but not actually fighting of course.

You could argue however which act is worse.

Yes, revisionism is a very scary and dangerous thing. Some countries in Balkan have already evened out the roles of partisans and fascist forces in the WWII, mainly because they have(or had at the time) fascist goverments. Some have even went further, actually swapping the roles.

The UN did a lot of stupid . The stupidest one being an embargo on all weapons for both the Bosnian Army and the occupying forces (read Serbs). Why you might wonder? They had the arsenal of a military that was top 5 in Europe while we had hunting rifles. Other things include not involving to prevent a genocide among the other.

But they did respond to a civilian bombings a couple of times with an airstrike.

Many things regarding that war are super confusing. You can bet what we think was the reason they (IC) let it last for almost 4 years with such a devastating consenquences.

So something a bit humorous relating to politics and small towns...

The locality where my farm is has a population of around 560 people. So not many people but large amount of land due to farming, etc.

Now here in France (and lots of places in the EU) do a two round system for voting.

The first round you typically have a few candidates and in the second you have typically have two.

Now we had a first round of voting in my small town prior to the lockdown. Should point out I can't vote.

Now the second is ready to go.

Funnily enough I know the three candidates in the second round personally.

Literally our two closest neighbours, one being the son of the lady we bought the house off of. The other is an IT guy. The third person is a lady who has helped us a bit and she's a firefighter.

The IT is in the lead but not by much. The other two are tied. What's amusing is the two that are tied are close friends.

Not sure what's going on down there! It's gone a bit weird.

So these are a local elections?

We get that a lot here. Even brothers/sisters on opposing sides. Hell even father and son. Though not necessarily in a bad way.
