WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So why a Razer 2? (in comparison to something like a 8 Sirocco)?

Big battery, booming speakers, interesting screen. Still stock experience. When I used the 8, it reminded me of the Pixel 2, but I was trading better camera to get better battery performance. The 8's camera is quite usable now. The biggest weaknesses for me where the lack of water resistance and the headphone jack. The former wasn't that bad, but the latter, combined with having an LG in the stable again makes me appreciate having good audio.

Why a Razer 2?

Well, I always liked the Robin. Battery was utter **** on that phone as Qualcomm screwed everyone in 2015 (hello G Flex 2, One M9, Lumia 950). Outside of that, the phone was fun. Since the Razer 2 shares that DNA, it's still a good phone - very good speakers, great screen, good sized battery and a camera with a G cam port that is quite solid. Would I buy one outright? Nope. Would I trade for one? Sure.

This is true. It makes me think of the Essential phone because of the fact that they wanted to try to do something different.
This is a bummer though.
It does suck. Variety in android helps.

In other news Rue cares about, we are down from 6 fish to 4. The GF did buy some cheap ones to start out, so it happens. I have taken over the feeding duties, so we will see what happens. I may buy her two good replacements this weekend.

Fish life keeps her occupied.

So the unlocked Razer 2 is slated to get 9.0 at the end of the month. Looks like Razer did a nice job on Pie. Interesting...

I'm still using my Sony MDR7506. Similar to you, I listen to a variety of genres. I prefer a "flat" sound, not anything overly bassy.
Cool. I too like a flat sound. I do like those Sennheisers though. I may get a pair later in the year.

If you do, please let me know how you like them. I'd appreciate if you could test them with jazz.

Will do. I've got that modern Playlist I shared eons ago, plus some higher octave jazz I like and some old stuff too.

Oukitel WP1 and WP2. These are built like the Cat phones. The WP2 has a supposed 10000mAh battery. Takes as eternity to charge lol.
These are spoken for already.

Oukitel U23. A really nice device for the price. It’s on it’s way to my friend’s aunt.

The Nuu G3 is a surprise device. The screen is a bit subpar, otherwise a very nice low cost device. Gets full LTE on TMO out of the box.

Of course my favorite is the Oppo R17 Pro.

I will do a mini review on it. It might become a temporary primary driver while I wait for the S10 or another Pixel device.

The Note 8, I might sell or trade to help purchase the S10.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

I doubt they will put this horse out to pasture. Remember, prior to it being codified, priests has kids without any (comparative) issues. Not sure why it isn't seen as a job different than any other religious one, but...
In the past Catholic priests got married and had kids. The change happened when the church was really powerful and they used to take all the land when nobles died. I can't remember how the story went but somehow the royalty and church came to some agreement and it was at this time the church took on celibacy.

Not that they were ever perfect with it though. There's tonnes of stories about popes, priests and nuns in the past and present

I know, unfortunately, that this institution won't go anytime soon. Just like other religions people continue to indoctrinate their kids.

My main issue is that this institution is taking over hospitals and other things that shouldn't belong to churches. Even though a large part of their followers don't follow their doctrine to the letter the hospitals and other organisations do. That's my issue. The RCC is well known for its stance on women's health and the LGBTQ community.

Like I said. Way too powerful and needs to be brought down.

I'm just not a fan of taking care of fish. Not my thing

I can appreciate them and understand why some people like them though.
