WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

Felt the 7.1 earthquake a few minutes ago whilst eating dinner. Man that shaking earth feeling is something else.
I've only been in one tiny little quake when I lived back Canada. The Toronto region is not active but it does get tremors from time to time.

I cannot fathom what a 7.1 feels like. The small one I experienced was weird enough.

In all the times I've visited LA I've never experienced an earth quake and I'm quite happy about that.

I don't miss that experience at all. Been in a few when I was much younger, but nothing nowhere near that strength. Hope all is OK on your end.

Over here, Sabah, Borneo region, is not known as a active area. We do get the odd tremor that wriggles things about but nothing huge. So, the Ranau earthquakes that happened in 2015 was shocking & devasting with 18 deaths, majority of the fatalities were young climbers up in Mount Kinabalu.
Up until then, we have not been a country that does things with quakes in mind.

We've ****ed the Earth up. It is interesting to see how as much as we have tried to subjugate our environment, the Earth has railed back fiercely in disapproval.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

So I decided to run some errands today and walked into a 1/3 of the MTA subways delayed due to "system wide signal failure". No movement in 3 boroughs be a use of this.

The funny part is the announcer dating "please use an alternative way to get to your destination". There's no way uber is getting my money to go where I want to.

This. Is. Just. Sheer. Nuts.

The best part about this is how wonderfully complicated the communication of this issue to the riding public. It's a master class in cluster**** that would make even Mr. Clue bust out laughing.

Wow, this sounds wild.

Luckily no damage here at least that is visible. Also thankfully the epicenter was in a sparsely populated area a bit south of Death Valley.

Re: WC 150K Post Challenge - You Ready?!

One of my friends thought that I was 24 . He didn't believe that I was 29 and told me that the 20s sucked and that 30 is so much better. It will be interesting to see if this is true in a few months. I have read and heard this various times.

The expression is because we have been friends for a while so how can one be so off?!

Finally got the S3 Classic. I think I may pair it with the Mate 20 Pro this week and leave it with the V35 when I get back.

Ooh sounds like this can be interesting to see how this goes. Let us know how it works out for you.

I think it should be fine, as long as it isn't too beat up or I have battery problems. I'll test it out on the trip though.

I really do want to get the Gear Sport fixed, now that I think about it more. I suspect it's a battery issue, as both of these watches had that problem. I was hunting for a spare battery for the S3 but no luck so far.

Saw the report on CNN this morning. Glad you and your family are safe, I couldn't imagine what those feel like. I've been through more hurricanes than I care to remember (including Andrew) but I've always had ample warning.

Wrong person.... But thanks.

I can only imagine the level of cluster***kery a transit shutdown could cause in Gotham. I was stuck in a major traffic jam near home the other day that cost a Dolphins player an arm amputation. I was p****d beyond comprehension thinking it was road construction until I learned Kendrick Norton was injured.
