WC 1M Post Challenge - You Ready?!

In 'Murica, you have to work extra hard to stay afloat. And if your job is funny, then you won't take vacation.

Yeah I'm aware of this issue. It's the reason why so many younger people are opting to become entrepreneurs or Influencers even if they really don't have the skills needed. Others have taken to remote working around the world.

But even with that, some young people are caught up in the culture of working hard to sacrifice. I'm all for hard work, but I'm not here to work hard without an end goal.

For me, I guess as I get older I often wonder what the 'end goal' really means.

I'm happy to work hard but I'm a little over doing it for other people/corporations. Being confined to whatever they deem I should be doing.

I have a lot to figure out still but eventually I plan to 'work hard' but also 'work smart'. I think too many people do the former and not much of the later.

I also know you're referring to those who work multiple jobs and for sketchy employers who have no qualms firing people for 'being human'.

There's a desperation that exists in the economy that I'm not overly fond of. There's a failing that needs to be addressed seriously and no one seems to be doing that anywhere.

I'm not overly surprised by this article. Samsung I think has gotten a bit too pricey and has too many models out. Yeah the Note 10+ is nice and all but really is it that much better than anything else?
It isn't. It's a very good device, but I don't know what else that's needed these days.

That was interesting, depressing and uplifting all at once... The care pay should be a lot higher. This issue is happening everywhere as well.
It's one of the things. They really need to pay people appropriately, but they don't. It's always been OK to underpay people who do this difficult work, it's always been OK to accept that there's such a wide variety of people doing this type of work - so it's hard to find quality help and to ensure that people doing the work are adequately trained and supervised.

I could go on and on about this, as home care services is one of the challenges I have to work through on the clock.

I think that's the trouble. The despair is real as the wealth gap widens. I don't know any more. I just want the basics - a decent house, a car and a stable stream of income. How that looks for everyone is different.

They Key2 has gone MIA! And just after I found out that the dual Sim one I had my eyes on DOES work with Verizon. Gonna have to quietly look for one.

I opened the back up work email already. The plan is to use that to open the WordPress business site to start off. I'd like to add the Key2 to prep for it, as simplly, put, 4G LTE isn't going anywhere anytime soon. I don't mind getting one and putting it to the side, but I'm not trying to pay out of the nose for it.

Take it from me, you want health first and foremost. I know it’s not the first thing on your mind when you’re in your 20s and 30s but remember Father Time is undefeated.

You don't need to tell me twice as I get to see the end product of questionable decisions in the 20s and 30s as a senior whenever I step into work. Not saying all the medical ailments the clients I work with were based on individual autonomy, just saying that a few are and a few of the social issues I have to address were rooted in less than optimal decisions.

Hey Rue, ol' Boris J is thinking about snap elections. God, Brexit is gonna be a first rate disaster.

Can't seem to open the link.

This isn't the first time an election has happened in this mess.

The difference here is that the Brexit party is now an issue.

An election would basically put them in a position of possible king maker... Or PM maker I suppose.

An election would basically tear the Tory party apart and a new part would emerge.

So is going to be interesting to see what happens.

Popcorn?

I prefer caramel popcorn, but otherwise an unmitigated disaster is what it seems this will be.

Well I've been over to Cornwall for a holiday and back and spent some more time with family, so not I'm on the edge of my seat with popcorn as to what will happen with Brexit.

I'm betting there'll be a massive recession next year.

Seems like a massive recession may be the best case scenario right now. Again, I don't understand how this was allowed to happen, but here we are...

Back in again. Everytime I leave the city I can feel the city stress melt away and whenever I get back, I can feel the city armor slipping back on to me all CGI style to get back to the grind. SMH.

I still really like the city, but 15 year in, the crazy love feeling is long gone. Perhaps is a combination of age and displeasure as to where the city is going...it just doesn't feel the same.

Need more peace, quiet and stability.

Still jet lagged. Work isn't too crazy busy today so that is nice. The rest of the week is pretty darn busy.

Half the stuff that was delivered is ready for pick up. So I'll set the phone up today and likely start using it on Friday, as I won't able to stop by come Thursday at the earliest after work.

I don't like the laziness where the clerks stuffed my SopiGard skin in my small *** mailbox that they saw was full. Got the damn thing bent out of shape. SMH.
