...Somebody should have told him to sync his contacts with gmail. My wife's iphone was having some problems and I had to restore it as new. Naturally the contacts weren't backed up so she lost them. I was able to find a program that will extract contacts from a backup so I got her going, but it was a pain. Now I have her stuff backed up to icloud.
