Thats what tablets are for (I have two, 7" and 8.9"). If you can't affort a tablet and a smart phone I could see having a big phone. But its not for me. You can much better cover all the bases with a smaller phone and a tablet. Than one device.

I used to agree, but since getting my 1520 (and actually getting used to using it), I've changed my mind. Yes, it is still a large phone, but it fits nicely in my normal pockets (whereas I needed cargo trousers to carry the 7" tablet around comfortably). It's MUCH better than smaller phones for displaying photographs (I've used it several times this last week while shopping around for furniture and playing the different stores against each other - one of the clerks commented "that's a huge phone", the others just said "wow, that's a great photo").

My arsenal now consists of the 1520 and a Surface 2. I still own a number of other tablets (from both the android and ios camp) but I haven't used any of them since November. My laptop hasn't been booted up for the past six months or so and the surface 2 has definitely seen less usage after I picked up the 1520. I do still have a desktop computer as well, but that's used exclusively for development these days (and project planning, but I can see this being done on the surface as well if I were able to ever get my hands on a type cover for it).

Just my $0.02

I might sound old school but I prefer a 4inch screen size...and don't like bigger screen phone eg those phablets

I uses to use a 920 and a Surface RT. However, given my use profile and the size of the 1520, I was able to consolidate to one device. I do still have a laptop at home for the heavy lifting.

5.5 to 6 for me. Once you find a way to carry a phone that big having the big screen is a real bonus.

I'm using the 925 now and I think the size is nice for everyday's use. But I'd like to have a 5" with a thin bezel.

I use a 520 ( 4" ), it's the biggest phone i ever had.
But at some occasion it's stil to smal.
When i am browsing webpages i can hardly read the content.
My better half owns a Note one ( samsung/droid ), that reads a lot better.
So the upcomming 6" 1520/1320 are a welcome change

With the 4.5 screen the problem that I am faced with being right handed is that with my short thumb I can't reach the top left of the screen comfortable. In order for me to reach the top left screen I have to use two hands. What about the right handed users? With short thumbs the top right would be a hassle. That's why perhaps a 4.3 screen would be good for me or anyone else who has stubby fingers.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yeah, that's one of the main problems I have with bigger-screened phones. That and the feeling of having a huge phone in my pocket.

Isn't it less about the size of the screen and more the width of the chassis? The 1020 is just about the same width as the LG G2, but the later is 5.2 vs the 4.5 of the former.

I'm kinda uncomfortable holding a 5 inch or above like when I used my friend's phone. I imagine myself when talking on the phone, it feels weird. I tend to relax on 4.3 and 4.5 screen size. 4.7 is okay but holding an iPhone 5c, it feels small lol.
