You: Anything. Your website has zero info on it.
Jonard G: Sure, let me get it for you.
You: pricing, availability.
Jonard G: We're about to release the device on the 17th of this month. I am sorry, but pricing is not available yet. You can check this link though to get info about the phone: Nokia Lumia 925 Specs, Features (Phone Scoop)

I'm just trying to get them to question their own ineffective tactics. I've already been blasting them on twitter today for this bull****.

BTW, several of you are now semifamous now that Daniel has picked up the story ;)

I saw that... jeje I'm there!

I called my TMobile store today (Park Meadows shopping center in Lone Tree Colorado) and they said the phone will arrive today or tomorrow... one of their representatives has my number already to let me know when it is available... I'm getting this phone whatever it takes :)...

I have my whole family with TMobile and can't move... but next time I have to renew contracts... I'll remember all this non sense.

The MS Store in San Antonio said they would have them on the 17th and that the $699 price was most likely a placeholder. Finally somebody that knows what's going on. Wish I was traveling through SA instead of Houston.

I tipped the story! Glad to see it got some attention. :D

The T-Mo store in downtown Pittsburgh was equally clueless lastweek when I walked in and inquired about the 925 lastweek.
I should not know more about the 925 then one of the reps. Pretty pathetic!

Not so bad in Chicago suburbs, one store knew that it will be available this week, another store had a demo phone with wireless charging cover and stand. Girl knew little about it but was really excited (even said it's better than iPhone) and the guy knew all about device. They expect to sell all 925 in a day and already has a list of people to be notified.

What a difference a few hours makes!

Went into my local TMO store (which previously had reps who had never heard of the 925) and saw a poster for the Lumia line. Had the 925 and 521 together. A manager saw I was looking at it (and taking a picture) and asked if I was looking forward to it. We got to talking and he brought out a dummy 925 that he let me play with (not a working phone, but a mockup). This phone is awesome feeling. He said they had over twenty that they had just gotten that day and that corporate sends out prices on the day of launch.

Thinking of just buying at TMO unless I call the MS store on Wednesday and hear they have a cheaper off contract price.

Glad to see this phone getting some love!

The first day the 925 was up for pre-registration, I signed up and chatted with Tmo rep. I was hoping for more information, only to be met with crickets. I chatted with Tmo the day the 925 was announced, July 10. The rep was completely unaware of the announcements that day, the event itself. Not familiar with the 925 at all. I copied him on the write up. He was very apologetic but offered only that I contact them again on the 17th.

I too have been anxiously awaiting this phone. I am beyond disappointed with T-Mobiles complete lack of concern about this product. Totally frustrating.

Just got back from a long bike ride. Stopped at the T-Mo store on Fowler and peeked my head in and asked if the 925 will be available Wed. The one female rep looked at the other male rep and he said immediately "Yep! Wednesday it will be available."

Felt a little better after that.

I feel lucky in the greater Seattle area - I just called my local T-Mobile store and the rep said they would have them in stock on Wednesday in white only. Then I called my local Microsoft store, the rep said they would have it too. He thought they might have it in white and black, but said they would be carrying the charging shells in multiple colors. Still no excuse for either company to have nothing on their websites.

Am just new to US market.. Help me understand this. When you guys says MS store also sell 925.. Do they sell in contract with Tmobile or unlocked versions of 925 ?

Wow. So if you buy the 925 outright without any plan attached..you have to shell out $579. I wouldn't be surprised if the T-Mobile reps would push the HTC One more than the 925 considering the two phones only have a $10 difference. (and on paper, the HTC One has better specs than the 925 well except for the camera).

Yeesh!

Don't read into that too much. IF that really is the case, setup the payment thing then pay the phone off early to get it $50 cheaper. I did that with my 710 and there were no issues.

Swung by 2 tmobile stores today in San Francisco. Both places confirmed they have 925 in stock & I could pick one up on Wednesday morning for $579.

Also swung a Microsoft store where the rep played dumb but strongly hinted that they would have the phone on Wednesday morning as well and it would like be the same price as tmobile.

And if what I've read on the forums is true, sounds like MS store warranty & return policy would make it worthwhile to get the phone there.

Great to hear that this situation with the 925 is good.

I tried to look at the 925 yesterday, as it was the release date for the 925. The retailer had it in stock but apparently they JUST received them!

Talked to one of the guys, he suggested that i should wait for the 1020, which is what i'm doing.

I'm not sure I understand the logic behind it costing $50 MORE to pay for it up front. If anything, shouldn't it cost less? Given the time value of money you'd be silly to try to purchase the phone outright directly from T-Mobile. I guess getting it on a monthly payment plan then paying it off would work, though. Still kind of a goofy process to have to go through.

The $579 price is for people on pre-paid or who don't have a T-Mobile account. If you can get the installment plan then your total cost will be $529 whether you use the payment plan or pay it off.

More double talk from two different stores.

Houston Galleria store says they won't get the 925 until August 1st.

San Antonio store says they anticipate it being in stock tomorrow, but don't have any devices yet.

Looks like I'll be purchasing through T-Mobile unless something changes tomorrow morning.
