(im sure) Everybody on 8.1 has it like that. So there is no fix for that. Just wait for update maybe* they'll fix it.

*As long as I remember they haven't fixed not one issue

Heya guys as whatsapp is having issue on windowsphone i was using whatsapp on my blackberry but today my blackberry is completely dead so i again try to verify my number on windowsphone but it is stuck on creating favourites anyone know how to solve this or else i would be left without whatsapp.

Turn off and on. It should help. Also alternate between WiFi and mobile network.

I know most of you are waiting for Whatsapp update and since I am using the beta version from December I don't wait for the updates anymore.. I get the updates frequently.. Beta version is on par with Android or iOS version except for sending MP3 files which you can send easily with changing the extension to MP4 trick.. Regarding the notification delay I never faced it in my HTC Mozart with WP7.5 and WP7.8 and also in Lumia 820 with WP8 and WP 8.1 so I don't know whether app has any bug or push notification procedures has issues..

I don't think any one other the developers know when is the app or update available for public so don't believe any unnecessary trolls..

Having said that if you notice the versions of WhatsApp public and beta it always ends in even number.. 2.11.356 is pubic and 2.11.484 is beta.. In beta version I received 2.11.355 which might be a RC before releasing the app to public.. So just look out for odd number beta update and if you see a odd number update then chances of public update might be highly possible.. I am just telling what I have noticed and it might be completely wrong.. Hope everyone gets the update soon..

Whatever app I use in WP 8.1 the battery drain is there for me so don't know whether it is related to WhatsApp.. Regarding the app it is definitely on par with android and ios in my Lumia 820..

I usually have good patience but now I'm starting to get really annoyed at WhatsApp, how is it possible that we have had a WhatsApp app since wp7, AND IT'S STILL LACKING!! How could they be sooo slow??? I just don't get it and it's very frustrating

Seriously when I pick up my old lumia 800 and compare whatsapp to the wp8 version it baffles my mind how so little has improved in so much time...
