Where is Cortana on my HTC 8x Verizon 8.1.1?

Help. I have no cortana in my HTC 8x Verizon 8.1.1

I successfully enabled cortana back then when I am with the windows phone 8.1 but when I updated my HTC 8x (Verizon) to 8.1 Update 1, I got no luck.

When I hard reset the phone after the update, my language and region is English and English(Philippines) but when I revert back to English US region and language, no luck of cortana has shown. I soft reset my device numerous times but still no cortana.

Any help guys?

Can you verify that you are indeed running WP 8.1? And out of curiosity, if your HTC 8x is Verizon branded, why would the default region be English (Philippines)?

Its verizon phone unlocked lvw6990 version.

Same problem happening to my HTS 8s. I can use Cortana before update 1 was installed. After the update, I can't really use it or find it.

I fixed it. After hard resetting the phone, I set the region and the language to US.
