Apparently PhoneArena is claiming that the 830 is coming to USA on TMO...and to confirm I asked TMO that question as well.

Paul Thurrott (WinSuperSite) is claiming the 730, 735 and 830 are not for the US. Looking at specs on GSMArena, US LTE bands are not listed.

Did you get a response from TMO?

Was hoping this (or a Verizon variant) would replace my 822 in January...was looking at the Icon until this came along...Pureview camera, glance and an SD card storage? Sign me up!

Then I see the processor is not even an upgrade from the 822, and won't be enough to handle the "Hey Cortana" passive activation thingy.

Now it's back to the Icon and no glance or SD card, I guess....but Pureview and a better processor...I'll take it!
I'm exactly on the same boat! My wife has an Icon so I'll play with it some more and make a decision.

I was planning on being in til the SD 400 business... then psyched myself into still being in til I realized it's another Lumia 930 situation, no U.S. version -_-. Simply asinine.

Then again, even if not headed to AT&T, will an unlocked one work on the network? Supposedly it's GSM 850, 900,1800.1900 and UTMS 850, 900, 1900, 2100

Can't believe they would omit the entire 73x and 83x series from the whole of the US. Possibly not 735/830 but who's to say you guys won't get a 'variant' under a different model number that's really the same thing? i.e. Icon/929 vs 930.

Apparently the 735 and 830 are listed on Nokia's USA website for nothing then. Do you guys believe everything? LOL If that's the case I have an Icon for sale with 8.1 Cyan, Glance and a SD card slot to sell you. ;)

According to the bands listed, it'll "work" on AT&T and T-Mobile but without LTE. Just like the 930.

The specs for the 830 and 735 are listed on Nokia's international website. If you click on the links for the US website the specific specs are not listed. That should give you a hint that there will be variations in the US just like previous phones as was suspected.

Yes, that does hint at eventual U.S. availability but until that's specifically announced (including carriers) I think most of us will assume that only an international variant will be available.

I actually realy want this phone, I love my L635 but wouldn't mind something more 'powerful' and bigger . Nothing against the HTC One M8 for Windows cause I kno that's an amazing phone with the Windows OS. I want me a Lumia that's what im collecting rite now . As long as it comes to AT&T I can get it unlocked for my T-Mobile network.

It has all of the specs I want in a phone: Quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM, battery access, 16 GB internal and SD card slot. When the price comes down to $350 USD, instant buy. I'm not going into contract debt for a phone to get a few more FPS in a $.99 game. I'm running a 635 from a 520. 635 got bashed saying its not worth the money compared to the 520. Well, I'm not looking back to the 520. I will agree with a SD800 etc this would be everything the Icon/930 should have been. I also agree they have to many phones. They should stick to four devices. The 5xx >$100. 7xx > $200-$250. 9xx > $ 350-400. 1xxx > $600. All with the usual dual-sim/LTE variants.

Gonna be my next phone if its priced under 25k in India. Anything above that is a no no

Same here mate.Am disappointed as well. I was looking upgrade to my phone from L720 to L830. But Nothing seems to be high end (as said by Microsoft) in this device. even camera is so so ( i was expecting above 10MP primary and 2MP front camera).
Wont buy this phone for announced price point. Unless they look into pricing again..

L730 and L735 pricing looks spot on. But not L830

i HATE nokia, i HATE Microsoft, i HATE myself.
I made a LOT of flame post against the Lumia 830 obsolete CPU, because that choice is a real brainfart, i'm one the many that said "THIS PHONE WILL DIE ALONE IN A LAKE OF HATRED".

But i will buy it. Because is sexy as hell. Because i have a Lumia 925 and i'm happy with it, but that orange back is awesome. Because i can't buy a 930 and lose the Glance. Because i want a freaking MicroSD card in my phone.

Maybe i will switch again with the future 1030, but i have the felling that it will miss MicroSD and i don't like it at all.

Damn this 830 is the most beautiful phone i ever seen, and since i don't play games on my phone this could be the right choice (its totally not the right choice, i want a fast CPU and record 4k video) and i have the feeling its battery will last 2 freaking days.

Ok ok, i just needed to puke out this, i'm ok now :|
