Why am I unable to set up my Outlook email account?

Not able to set up outlook email account.

I have Lumia 1320.
When I go to Settings>email + accounts> add an account> and tap Microsoft account, nothing is happening on tapping the Microsoft account. i.e. next page is not getting opened. all other mails like gmail etc are getting easily set up, but not of microsoft. the page for giving login id and password for microsoft account is not getting opened.

microsoft account not getting created in microsoft phone. its wierd.
