Why is there no sound when my phone rings, it's a new Nokia 625/?

Why is there no sound when my phone rings.Its a new nokia 625

When i recieve a call the phone does'nt have sound.I have tried using the volume switch,but to no avail.It just switches to vibrate...

Try going into settings and change your ringer setting.
