Even if Lumia 950 XL is slightly better phone, I'd go for the Lumia 950.
The only reason is the size. The XL is too big for me.
Of course there are some more advantages / disadvantages, but they are not important for me.
Big disadvantage od Lumia 950 is the strange Microsoft's price policy because the free display dock is offered only with L950XL, so L950 is more expensive in the end...
But it doesn't change my opinion and the Lumia 950 is the best phone for me (and looks better than the XL)
