Windows 10 location not updating.

Hi,

I moved about 500 miles away 2 weeks ago, but the maps app on my windows 10 laptop (XPS13) kept showing my current location(the blue dot) being in my old address.

I have the location service turned on, and tried clearing previous locations, but it seems that my laptop is still pretty stubborn and thinks I'm still at my old address.

Anyone had this issues? Any resolution?

doesn't the laptop need wifi or cellular signal to get the proper location info? Or does it have internal GPS hardware?

Yes, mine does need wifi. I am connected to wifi though. Map app kept showing I'm at my previous location whereas google maps' showing my exact location. I'm hoping there's a way to correct the map app's location.

Maybe you have a default location set? I have one set for my home. You can find this setting in Location settings.
