Wireless charger chimes in the middle of the night after GDR2/Amber

Its charged. Just not reporting properly. Mine has started doing this. Something is not updating the battery info. If you reboot and it shows fully charged you can see that. Mine has done it twice. It started after I got updates that fixed the touch panel issue I was having. They fix one bug and it introduces another. Sounds like windows to me!

Both my wife and I are having this problem with our 920s using wireless charging stands. It only started a few weeks ago. I mostly solved it by putting it in silent mode at night, but it still knocks out of glance mode and lights the room up for a few seconds. I got excited when I saw the Black update was available today, and was hoping that'd fix it, but after reading this thread I'm not so sure anymore. Hopefully this will get fixed soon - I really liked having my phone double back as an alarm :/

Hmm - It's been on a wireless charging stand all day since installing Black and hasn't done the disconnect/reconnect freakout once in 8 hours... good sign, hopefully.

If true this is excellent news. Just came here tonight to see if people were reporting on this after the Black update. :)

Seems to be fixed for me as well. I often miss a call or text in the morning because the volume has been turned down all night and I forget to turn it back up. Hmm... maybe it was fine the way it was.

I left my ringer on overnight for the first time in months. Didn't hear a thing, but I can't say for sure black took care of it, as I was out completely... :)

That's very good news! Now if only AT&T would just push the update out already.....

Update: as soon as I left the house, I checked the update screen and there is an update available ^_^. Here's hoping it's Black!

Hasn't happen to me yet at work. I keep it on the wireless charger when not in use. It would have normally happened numerous times by now so... 😊

I will try it overnight tonight too.

With the Black update installed, I didn't hear the usual random chimes during the night while the phone rested on its charger. Here's hoping that is wasn't a fluke and is indeed truly fixed.

Looks like I am the first to bring bad news. I updated to Black about 5 minutes after it was unleashed. I already had the GDR3 update.
This morning just before 3AM I heard the chime. I hope it was just a fluke.

I managed to work out that it is one of my wall plugs that is causing the problem. As I have two charging plates, one at home and one at work, I swapped all of the bits around until I identified one of the wall plugs as the culprit. Anyone know where I can buy one of these separately or do I have to buy a complete wireless charging system?
