Your most exciting feature you want on windows phone 8

I am surprised no one has mentioned Multi-People messaging. I hate getting a mass text from someone on an iPhone and then not knowing who else is on it.

I would like to be able to see who else sent it and then get the choice of reply or reply all.

Do you have Group Text disables? It does support it, it will always reply all though

Minor for most people but I am looking forward to wp8 simply because support for NFC will allow for better two-factor authentication with things like last pass.

Local syncing of contacts w/o the Clouds
Complete field similarity with Outlook Contacts
More Functions on Excel and Word
Must have Bluetooth HID for keyboards.

Am I the only one who wants these things above or are the kinds of business people who want them not appearing on sites like these. If so, and if MS is watching these comments, it should realize their natural loyalty and really their only loyalty could be coming from those people who want total and exact interfacing with MS Office as well as having the ability to backup and sync locally.

people got the PS3 for the blue ray,

its cheaper to get a PS3 (for the blue ray) then to actually buy a Blue ray player... lol

**** I got a PlayStation for that reason alone.. lol

separate volume controls and led notifications with separate colors. My trophy has an led, but many wp7 don't. Also, you can not change anything about the led like you can on android devices.

Better built-in navigation and option to choose a different search as well as local search.

It was at one point, but now you can find blu ray players for less than $100.

My new most wanted feature for WP8 would have to be confirmation from MS that WP8 will include a data migration tool to move the game saves and data from WP7 to a new WP8 device. That's all that is stopping me from buying a WP7 at the moment.

Oh, and I was one of those who bought a PS3 just for Bluray. My PS3 gets no gaming love.

I thought it was ironic as I just thought about this feature driving to work as a OS level feature that would make WP8 unique and an article that just came out

Allow the end user to select numbers to block from getting calls or text messages. I think there might be a way for the OS to determine which # is calling and just send a hang-up message and for text messages to just enable a hide flag or something.

I thought of this feature as my wife was unable to get AT&T to block a number from calling her. I would guess there are other scenarios from bill collectors, ex-lovers or family members ( cough ) that you just don't want to talk to anymore.

FM Transmitter: Yes, I can use the aux line, or BT streaming for my music; but I once rented a vehicle (a 2012 model) that DID NOT have BT or an aux in jack! Fortunately, I had the FM Transmitter - all I had to do was find an open FM station, enter that frequency into my phone, and voila...music to my ears for the entire 5 hour trip!

I would honestly admit, I would use this a lot if my phone had it built in. No linking my phone up when I get into my wife's car or a friends car. Just tune and go...

I used a Tape adapater for my Pre-bluetooth Lexus and it was a pain in the a$$...setting up a FM transmitter everytime I use it is a pain too...

One other thing I would like.....

Physical back, Windows, Search buttons... My 3 year old loves to play games on my phone but, every 30 seconds or so she hits that back or search button and it stops her game. All you have to do is slide your finger over them and it pushes them...

^ it really seems like physical buttons won't really be happening again on high end phones, maybe mid range ones like the 710.

And I have -0- interest in a mid range phone unless it's my only option (AKA. Verizon HTC Trophy).

Then Microsoft needs to add a way to disable the buttons for a app or a time... NEW FEATUE REQUEST !!!

Something like hitting the Search and back at the same time will disable the buttons till you hit Search and Back again... So if you just scrape one of the buttons, it wont do anything.

Do you know how hard it is for a kid to hold my HTC Trophy for a game or a video WITH OUT hitting one of those buttons ? It has never happened at least 2-3 times per use till she gets fed up and gives me my phone back.

Yea I can understand that, its an issue for me too when I give my phone to somebody to show them something. I can see this being added as an option for games in WP8.

The feature I most want in WP8:

Complete or really good integration with Dynamics CRM Online. I believe integration was mentioned way back but I haven't heard much since.:D

ahh welcome aboard dtrush, a PPCGeeks exile: yea we cam expect WP8 to be alot more enterprise friendly.

Not a feature but more of an improvement. I wish they have fixed the Zune Music player's wrong artist pictures and also fix the low res images .. :(

One more feature request would be ringbacks, and different ringtones/alert sounds for text messages received from different people. Caller ID Text Alerts :-)
