Hello,

I have an Acer V3 572p netbook with win 8.1 . I tried to upgrade to Win10 and everything works except the network. Wifi icon just shows a cross bar on it & LAN connectivity also doesn't work. Folder "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections" is empty.

Assuming this as driver issue, I tried to contact Acer customer care to find out if such issues will be fixed when windows 10 officially launches.

To my surprise, the answer was Acer doesn't support any other softwares or drivers installed by user. It supports only factory installed pieces when the laptop was manufactured.

lol, right? But it is terrible as well. Thoughts please...

I would try reinstallation of the appropriate driver, I'd try a clean install as well.

And choosing a better OEM for your next laptop I suppose, although that was a cheap model.

I tried re installation several times. Didn't work out. hopefully, this gets solved when Win 10 officially gets upgraded to my system.
