He is! I think he is better at being unbiased than our editors here. But over here, we have specific sites.

i must ask how am i generalising if i have owned flagship phones (and still do) of every os except BB10??
u havent even tried wp8 properly and have jumped to the conclusion that android is a os meant for gods or something and doesnt have any flaws despite some of us already mentioning our experiences and articles to prove that wrong

I have tried WP8 properly. I didn't try to insinuate anything about Android besides trying to have reasonable conversation. Anecdotes never trump facts regardless of what you say. I have tried all the major platforms as well. I am also well aware of the fact Android has flaws. But to sit here and allow generalizations, and misinformation run a conversation I will not allow.

i do appreciate free apps , but it should have quality not some shortcut to some web page(youtube app for wp8, which actually is due to googles stupidity)
i prefer apps which have quality, should be free and should be from a respected dev
sadly whatsapp doesnt take efforts to maintain whatsapp on any of their platforms except ios

You ask a lot for a platform that has little to give back to a developed besides small internet fame (Rudy). I personally think WP should take what they can as far as apps and developers go.

being a dev myself , i dont think people understand the way wp8 functions
it may not have full support or alot of apps etc but what people dont get is it has quality not quantity
android may have more support but it has its flaws
android needs a good config to function
wp8 runs much much smoother and has more potential than android on the same hardware
other than nexus devices, the rest all have battery issues,lag.no updates,serious security flaws etc

yeah whatsapp's team doesnt realize that they have alot of potential with that sorta popularity but bugfixes are a must
same with facebook, other than wp i havent seen them make workable apps for ios, android etc(opposite for whatsapp , where wp has the worst whatsapp client and ios has the best)
i wish devs would make proper apps before adding features etc

how many people use play store??ive only seen people use third party stores id mention a few(one store is more common than the rest) but it would be against forum rules and promotes piracy
maybe out of a few people that use play store, a few may buy games but that doesnt include all android users or something
some wont even activate play services
i myself hate google and use aosp roms and apps instead of google forcing me to use google+ etc
plus u have moved way away from topic, this is wpcentral not androidcentral

what??? dude generalising is what u are doing!! u dont own a windows phone yet and are buying one soon u said but u are assuming facts abt an os u are yet to try
everyone in the other thread have switched from android and stated their problems which they were experiencing and im the one generalising???

when u try that next phone of urs(wp) then u wont be generalising when u have had a feel of the phone but at the moment u are generalising and not me
i own devices of every os except bb10(have upto bbos 7.1 though) so im not generalising when i post my experiences of each os
keep in mind i own nexus , galaxy and lenovos idea series in my android collection , so i have a bit of pretty much most flavours of android including the (in)famous touchwiz and the buttery smooth stock android, im not against any os but the flaws for my usage were higher in android than any other os whereas for someone like my own father whom i got a nexus 5 after his lumia broke(he likes variety so he didnt get another lumia) , he is quite happy with android as he is very choosy abt certain things in an os but he still misses his lumia despite having grown to like stock android 4.4
so now tell me im generalising!! im using anecdotes is it? so how else would u get an idea abt any platform? by assuming the makers are right? no right , u would get an opinion of someone who has used it (or other os's before as well)

ps dude dont get offended by my statements, its towards android and wp's flaws and pros and not towards u!! i hope u havent taken my stuff in a wrong way

I personally would find File Manager helpful in creating picture albums and being able to move them around for better organizing.

I am not looking for an idea of something I am already knowledgeable about. I know weaknesses and strengths of all the major platforms already, there is a reason why I am still on Android. I rather live with the weaknesses with Android than WP. Anecdotes are helpful in getting an idea of something, but to paint anecdotes as fact is wrong.
