the reason moliplayer is free on android may be because the dev knows people will anways pirate his app
ive heard of very few people who get paid apps from the play store

How do i attach 2 or more files to a reply email? oh, wait...one cannot do that, but WP8.1 is still the best no matter what! It doesn't matter what the reality really is, it doesn't matter that the VPN support sucks, sip/voip solutions are simply a joke, the dialer is a joke too...Skype, OneNote, ie. Microsoft's own applications are inferior to what they provide to the other OSs, and the list could go on forever....WP8.1 is a real productivity nightmare to be honest! No, i am not an Android fun as i was more than thrilled to replace my S4 with a Lumia925, i am just an objective person who is not afraid of pointing out when something is wrong! I don't really get why some people have to kiss some of Microsoft's butts. Probably these people have paid big bucks on high end WPs which are way inferior to their friends mobile solutions, therefore they don't want to admit their stupidity in front of their friends. Or maybe these persons use their phones just for playing games. People, remember that progress springs from people's dissatisfaction, don't inhibit it

I do agree with you that other OS have better features. We are actually WP enthusiasts who want to discuss about the phones we own.

Like I said it is optional. You can use one or not. That's my point. If there is a file manager would you all of a sudden stop using Windows Phone? If the answer is no, then this argument against it is stupid.

False. WP has a much smaller user base therefore of course there will be less exploits and scams than Android. Full access is a file manager just like Android WITHOUT root access. This insinuation that a file manager pushed piracy and exploits is a poor excuse.

why didnt symbian and blackberry os not have malware when they were the top os's before ios and android came along

being a part time dev myself , i know how piracy can take a hit with cracked apks etc
fyi u should buy services if u like and need them
wp organises things properly
DONT pass personal remarks on me or others in the thread, im not microsoft

i think its a beautiful os , unique, organises my files well etc
i bought my 720 and 820 because i loved the phones designs, os etc

Do you have 4G in your country if yes how much it cost.
The short story is that for cloud based storage need fast internet access with cost effective price and right now most of countries don't have.

Do you need a cortana like feature which is only for US.

no i dont use 4G i have unlimited 3G and 25mbps wifi
i have cortana by region change and it works fine
i use 3 copy backups of all my stuff
on 2 hdds and one on onedrive, i paid for extra storage

There you go. This is something that's not available to a majority of users in the world. Hell, even in America and all the developed European countries, unlimited mobile data is a rarity. Just because you have it, don't assume everyone else can have it. Certainly, I'd use OneDrive too, if I had unlimited data. This is the whole problem with people who don't see anything beyond themselves.
People ask for features like USB OTG and a File Manager because alternatives are not available to them, and the people who can use those alternatives still keep saying "NOO! WHY NOT USE ONEDRIVE!!! FILE MANAGER NO NEEEED!!11one!"

Been using it. I actually use it a lot since the SD card menu in the Office app doesn't work. It's still far from being great, but something's better than nothing, I suppose.

Actually I agree with the poster above that 90% of the regions do not have unlimited data.

I would also like to suggest that we need to motivate good developers by buying their products. Only then the OS will grow.

If we expect every feature to be inbuilt in the OS, then update for the features also be available only with an OS update.

If we buy a standalone app, then the chances of frequent updates are higher.

Yeah. Cause we need more weather, ringtone and fart apps.

When I was on android, the "quantity" of apps was all repetitive and the quality of most were terrible.

Oh do u have all apps like flip board. App is still lacking because of low market share of wp once it is solved we may get apps. But it will take another 1 or 2 years.

Also u forgot to mention u cannot download YouTube videos to SD card. It is always stored in application. You annoy transfer those videos also. At least in Android you have tube mate where u can download any videos into so card. Android is a true multitasking os which lags ND freezes but it is more useful than wp 8.1.i love my windows phone though but only due to performance it offers in the mid end segment if it's high end one should definitely go for iPhone or Android. Wp is winner in low ND mid end not in high end.

its not , theres a reason androids get rooted , hacked easier(piracy,scams etc) , u may not have write access but theres certainly read access

But you are always attacking Droid but am sure still Android Wins many new customers. Still wp still has low market share though it is best in low end nobody wants to give it a damn. Android though laggy hangs all the time still it is being used by most people. Then when they upgrade they go for higher or mid range specs. It's strange. :sly:

Oh you think all Android users do not pay for good apps. Sorry you left the flagship Android users who spend dollars on great apps ND game not all go for sideload apks.

unlimited 3G isnt really expensive
if u have 2G internet, its 2014 4G is latest, 3G is a must for any smart phone
