Homemade biscuits and gravy. Gravy was made with Carolina Reaper peppers grown in last years garden. Not for those that don't like some kick!

What did you put in them? I loved stuffed peppers too.
I use ground sirloin uncooked, mix in white rice, chopped onion, pressed garlic and tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Fill pepper cups. I place a basket steamer in a large pot, arrange peppers, add water and a little tomato sauce to a 1/3 of the way up the peppers. Squeeze some lemon and pour some tomato sauce over peppers. Steam about 1 1/2 hrs.
steaming removes all the grease and fluffs the filling to perfection.
additionally if you don't have a basket steamer, you can line the bottom of pot with cabbage leaves and arrange peppers on the leaves them fill wth the water/sauce 1/3 way up the peppers. The cabbage leaves method was my grandmothers way, it works great too. If you use the cabbage leaves simmer on low.

Boneless pork chops with baked sweet potatoes and saut?ed green beans. Different potatoes this time - not as sweet and not ad starchy feeling.
