I have the Microsoft flip case, it looks really nice! but I hate that it don't have a magnet that makes the case stay closed all the time and that it don't turn on/off the screen automatically.

For anyone interested in pretty cases (or even some ones that say don't touch my phone LOL), I ordered one from this seller : iven-case @ Amazon.com: lumia 640

Someone left a review on one of them saying that it fits well, so I hope to find out in a bit. For $4.00, that isn't too much of a risk.

I finally received the one I ordered! It fits well, and it actually feels like I don't even have a case on almost.

It looks like Mozo, I agree. I have never seen a leather case for the 640 before.

Are you sure those aren't the 550? There were some leaks recently about a Mozo case for the 550.

Looks like there are some on their site for the 640, but only in "girly" colors.

Upon closer inspection of the cases on Mozo's site it appears that the white and black cases actually have a copper band around them, which I first thought was pink. Would be interested to see one in person. I keep telling myself not to spend money on this "cheap" phone, but then things like this keep tempting me...

The Evocel case feels very comfortable to me and my big hands. A nice solid fitment too. Cutouts are perfect. Also got a Mr. Shield TG screen protector and an mdrxb50ap earset. The sony mdrxb50ap earset have no volume control (available for android phones with sony smart app, but no WP smart app), but call pick-up/hang up, song skip/forward and backward work just fine. Thanks to all posters for info and pics, much appreciated.

For a $60 phone, I just go without a screen protector. I got a TPU case solely because the phone feels slippery to hold so I wanted something that had grip. $70 total out the door.

I got the evocell case like several shown above... biggest thing I did not like was not having a holster/clip for it... then I found that evocell that had the rubber "armor" case with a belt clip - and the belt clip on it works on the other one (frankly better) - it's a little flimsy compared to the old ones I've had for other phones - and I would gladly spend more than the $10 each for them if they made them... but these work for what I want.

I bought the Fosmon clear tpu case on eBay and it seems to fit well. In fact, I kinda had a hard time getting the case on. I also use a clear Fosmon on my 635; however, that case has yellowed pretty significantly over 6 months of use.

I also got the Fosmon case, but black. Fit is good and I like it being matte on the back, but gloss on the sides. Whether true or not, the glossy sides seems to help with sliding into a pocket.Took a couple metallic Sharpies to color the buttons (although with double tapping- seldom need to use them) Paired the up with the Sparin glass screen protector. $5 for the case, $10 for the glass, no shipping on Amazon (bought something else) = $15 = happy camper!

I do want to note that yesterday afternoon, I went out to my workshop, took out my trusty Dremel tool, and put a small cut in this case to match the small plastic bump on the holster that holds the other case on better. It always felt like it wasn't completely seated before - because it wasn't. Think of it as a seatbelt that is pushed into the slot, but not fully engaged.. That would be the "before" - a couple of minutes cutting out a small slot (1/4" long by 1/16" wide) took care of that problem. Now it clicks tightly and stays clicked in.

I should note that the cut is more than 1/16" wide because in order to use the "stand" feature of the holster, it can't reach both sides - so the 1/8"-3/16" wide instead allows the phone glass to face either in or out. It is still very secure either way.

I've discovered something that helps tone down a yellowed clear TPU case! Purple shampoo for silver and blonde hair. The purpose of this stuff is to keep silver and blonde hair from looking brassy by depositing violet pigment into the hair, thereby counteracting the yellowness. I already had a bottle so I thought I'd give it a try on my clear Fosmon TPU case that had yellowed. I put it into a ziploc bag, filled it with the purple shampoo, mushed it around to make sure it covered the whole case, then let it sit for 15-20 minutes. It does seem to work! Might have to repeat every now and then.

For reference, here is a picture of my 640 case on the left, after being treated, and my 635 case on the right, untreated (and about the same degree of yellow that my 640 case was). My treated case smells pretty good, too. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for the tip on the case. It looks like we have the exact same case for the 640 and the yellowing has been a little annoying. I will give your tip a try.
