if your unlucky you will get duty tax.

you can email them and try tell them to say its a gift and apparently that works to avoid the import and duty tax.

Do you know if you get taxed at customs?

You will have to pay a $38 clearance fee to Customs/MAF.
There is no additional duty applied to phones so the only other charge will be the 15% GST applied to the order total.

I saw your post and went to the site and saw it at $969, gave them a call to have a chat about it and got a $10 promo code but found it had gone up to $1009 once I had hung up and placed my order... oh well.

Mobicity hasn't specified regarding the 4g bands for lumia 920/820. They have only mentioned one band for L920, but the nokia product page says it supports around 4-5 bands. Anyone any ideas??

NZ doesn't have 4g so it doesn't matter. our HSPA+ is just as fast a 4G apparently. However i find HSPA+ perfectly fine for streaming videos without buffering etc.
