Noticed anyone with a Windows Phone lately?

I've see quite a few people with windows pohnes in the school I study, and also usually see 1-2 random people with Lumias on the street

Oddly enough for the past couple months I've seen someone once a week with a windows phone. Mainly Lumia 635s. I did see a few Icons and someone with a 640 XL. Saw a woman at the airport with the Samsung Ativ SE.

I've seen plenty around town. Mostly 530's and 640's. About half of the people I know have a Windows phone.

I see lumias daily. At least 15% of smartphone users have lumia devices.

I use public transport daily and every time I always hear the distinct message tone for lumia in the vehicle. I already know 3 of my friends who have lumia 1020 and so do I.

MS should really invest more effort in developing markets where people actually prefer lumias to other brands. The developed world market won't be good but the developing world has a huge potential. Majority of people had Nokia phones and they want to go with the same brand since they're loyal customers.

MS need to make sure that support exists for lumia users in the developing nations such as availability of chargers, usb cables, covers, customer care centers, accessories and lumias of various colours, not just the black model

Plenty, actually.

Whether I'm at the university or working my second job, Lumia 520s and 635s are mf'ing EVERYWHERE. To a rarer extent I'll see 1020s, 920s, Icons, and 1520s too... and an increasing number of 640s.

At my primary job the IT leads all seem to have formed a 1520 guild, and two of the people I trained this quarter were packing WPs - one with a 520, the other which had an Icon with a cracked screen (who is apparently an avid user here!).

Obviously Android still has the largest mobile presence (with iPhone being an extremely distant second), but it's become lots easier to find other WP users in the wild compared to two years ago.

i was in S?o Paulo (largest city in Brazil) this weekend and saw lots of Lumias there. 730 (looks awesome), 930, one that looked like a 640 and others i couldn't identify, not to mention the random WP notifications sounds around :amaze:

Just talked with a lady here at an auto repair shop. She was using a 920. I had to make small talk with her about her phone. First time I have seen a windows phone outside my wife's in about 6 months. I try to look every where I go...but always see iPhones or androids.

I was at Sam's Club the other day and saw a guy with a Lumia 1520. I spotted it even through his dual density case.

I hoisted my own Beast Phone[SUP]TM[/SUP] aloft and we saluted each other that way.

I know MS needs sales, but I'm kinda glad I don't have to see every other person carrying my phone...I like to be different. I feel that way about my Mazda too.

Yes i see many in the public transport
Mainly 730,830, 1020, 535, 640 and 520.

In Delhi metro, every 1 in 5 people have a lumia.
Mostly 520, 720, 640XL, 640, 535.
Occasionally. I see Nokia X, XL and X2...
Rarely, I even find people using WP 7.5/7.8 ...

I saw someone else with one for the first time at work. I told her nice phone and she just said thanks. I really wish I asked her what phone she has (it was face up with Nokia branding).

11 out of 32 people in my office have Lumias. In addition to this, I see at least 5 people using Lumia every day while travelling by bus. I have even seen many people using Nokia X.
