I recently banned somatta. The account was made specifically to troll on WPC and AC. The IP used by this guy were
5.104.224.42 and 4.34.200.253, both of which are TOR exit nodes.

Considering his posts are similarly aggressive, I think there is a chance that this is the same guy that impersonated Dave Blake a while back.

I think it's omniusovermind returning.

Yup seems like that to me too, he even buys proxy servers so he'll have different IP addresses.

Good catch. This guy is shady as hell. Using anonymous proxy to post, but found his original IP is out of Iran (just like the single poster in his thread thanking him for "perfect" apps. I went ahead and removed the thread - too damn shady to keep as it was supposedly posting the Amazon app under a different developer (who knows what was done to it). We will keep an eye on this guy for a while.

I went ahead and removed the thread - too damn shady to keep as it was supposedly posting the Amazon app under a different developer (who knows what was done to it). We will keep an eye on this guy for a while.

This just seems a little odd to me.

I have no idea what their connection is. I don't think they're the same person, since Vitor is from Brazil and M0TH3R is from India. I just checked both of them using Mod Control Panel too, and none of their IPs are in common.

Vitor started his thread on 19 July, and it looks like M0TH3R just copied and pasted the material from Vitor's thread. As a result, I closed M0TH3R's thread and left Vitor's thread open.

Visa Declined and Craigtrain
AE hasn't been catching him lately because of different entry locales.

Didn't look like a big deal because he initially seemed to drop the "VisaDeclined" name.
I noticed a few days ago Visa Declined was in the front page comments.
Lately he's been posting as both on the forum.
One from Kansas the other IP is showing in Oklahoma.
Not really a troublesome member...I just don't see a need for 2 accounts.
Plus of course it's a serious infraction.
What to do?

Continually posts linked news articles from outside sources.

I was just going to report this guy to you all until I saw this forum and his mention.

FYI.. in reviewing this account as a possible self-promoter, I've come to this realization... he's a doooooosh (sorry language filter workaround). He has been a fairly heavy commenter on the site front pages since 3/13, but the majority of his comments are snarky and condescending towards others. I had to remove a few posts where his language was unfiltered (f-word uncensored) or where he was berating someone else who answered a question of his. I wouldn't be too surprised if this guy either ignores Mod actions or simply gets snarky to them. Accounts like this is where a "Restricted" setting would be good so we could take away his ability to post links or edit threads. He's definitely a fan of himself.

Solved. He replied. He is keeping Visa Declined. He created other account due to passport issues which were resolved.

He's perma-banned now. Also cleaned him off of AC following PP ban, following him posting a duplicate of a thread I closed and mentioning "WPC Gestapo" in that thread. Was registered on Connectedly but no posts found.

To me there was something very odd about roguesource.
Far as I found user never posted anything helpful.
Nothing but outside linking almost like a hired gun to drive news articles.

Yep, he never even added any personal comments about those outside sources.

When I banned him, I saw he had been previously banned, and his ban was lifted about 3 weeks ago. He didn't learn and cannot be reformed.
