At which point we'll ban him for multiple usernames. I saw this earlier and asked Dave to take a look into it, as Morpheus was getting a bit freaked out by jaj's behaviour specifically targeting him. I'm glad eric and pal have looked into this further. I thought since I was involved in earlier dealings with Morpheus it might be wise to take a bit of a backseat on the next infractions involving him in any way.

I am surprised they didn't permanently ban him at AC, since it's part of the Mobile Nations infraction guidelines as: Multiple Usernames 226 Never.

If he pulls that over here, just follow the guidelines for infractions and he'll be permanently banned.

I was just looking at his post history here. For the most part he posts well. I am not sure why these two are going at it but hopefully its resolved with the temp ban. Do watch for a new user name from him and perm ban if it happened.

Read jaj324 posts here and AC, the guy seems like a jerk. Trolling users and baits when they don't agree. He definitely pulled Morpheus offside. I've contracted and worked for Microsoft as well. And I can tell you they wouldn't appreciate him pulling that card. Especially from a contractor. Morpheus should leave that alone.

I was just looking at his post history here. For the most part he posts well. I am not sure why these two are going at it but hopefully its resolved with the temp ban. Do watch for a new user name from him and perm ban if it happened.

The only reason I knew anything about him was I saw a few of his post at AC and thought he was being a smartarse. I never reported any of his post over there. Then I noticed he was banned over there, maybe like a week ago. Didn't really think about it again.

I saw he was posting here a few days ago and really never gave it a second thought because his post here that I saw seemed fine. Then I saw he was reported today, so I looked into it a little further.

Morpheus was always civil and a good poster until jaj324 egged him on. I don't recall any issues with Morpheus prior to jaj324.

I don't have an issues with giving him the boot if we can find something solid that shows he has multiple user names. The only thing linking jaj324 and WP-user is one hit on the AE over at AC. He has never tripped the AE on WPC. The IP's are different the email addresses are different I can't find anything linking these two on WPC.

This guy has 585 posts on WPC he has more posts on WPC that on AC 227. In almost 600 posts this is the first time we are talking about him. Is it possible that these two jaj and Morpheus are just having an argument? I went back deep in to jaj's post history he is usually just a normal poster with Android roots. It is obvious that he has used Android a lot. For a while is did seam that he was trying to like his L1520 but I think those days are over he has settled on a LGG2. His new device might turn him into a troll here trying to justify his decision by belittling WP.

What do you all think do we let him return and wait to see what he does or will he do more harm than good?

In the interests of possible rehabilitation, however unlikely, I'd say let him stay until he causes any grief or breaks any more rules and then get rid of him. Who knows, he might behave from now on ... but if he continues to belittle people and WP then he really has no place here.

Here's my opinion

I think there's more evidence out there, such as, didn't Morpheus say that jaj324 send him a nasty PM or PM's? Is it worth asking Morpheus if he still has a copy of it? What did he say in the PM? That could be a major determining factor if we even want him back.

I wasn't trying to imply Morpheus was a problem with my post. More or less commenting he should drop mentioning contracting for Microsoft. It could get him into trouble with the mothership in Redmond.

My face lights up everytime I see a new post in this thread. But anyway he was belittling alot of people in the LTE thread for not getting an LTE phone so I believe that he's changing for the worst so we shall wait and see how he acts when he gets back.

I wasn't aware of it back ~2010 when I was extremely active on CrackBerry. I got a PM from MatrixLeader, the biggest troll in the history of CrackBerry, cursing me and my family and wishing death on us. I wasn't the only one. MatrixLeader is another story; any CrackBerry mods can explain.

Point being, I was a member for over a year and as active there as I am here, even though I was just a regular member, and I didn't know about reporting PMs. I received my "Genius of Geniuses" status on CrackBerry prior to posts in Off-topic counting (and most were prior to likes / thanks being available).

This is one where suggesting that Morpheus report the PM would be fine but don't accept a forwarded or a copy of a quote as fact. I think also in this situation jaj is the one that got the PM. Morpheus sent jaj the PM with the address right? That's the way I understood it. That's all I got from the open forum posts.

One time a member sent me a quote from a PM I acted on that not thinking. Later the accused member sent me the actual PM via reported PM and it was different. The other person had edited the quote to make it sound much worse that it was.


Anyways the report button is there and Morpheus knows how to use it. If he had something to report I would bet he would have already done so.

I want to add I am not on jaj side here I bet he wont last a day once he returns bit think it is impotent the we let him have the chance to do the right thing.

No doubt. And looking back at his reported posts he really comes off as whiny and spoiled. Even threatened us with telling MS people not to come here and reporting us to MN.

Exactly this... I am just hoping that this was just tempers flaring and its all over now. I wouldn't be missing anything if both of these people went elsewhere.

I just hope he waits till December 26 to come back. I see his ban ends on Christmas, and I won't be doing forum stuff Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
