Photo hub albums / cannot delete folder

I have an album in my photos which was picked up from my SD card (a music folder which had an image called fanart.jpg for XBMC use). I deleted the image (and it disappeared from the album), but the folder still remains. If I delete the album by a long press, it just immediately comes back again. If I format or remove the SD card it goes through the process of 'updating' but still this album will not go!

Any help would be much appreciated.

OK, I removed the SD card now, so there is definitely no folder of that name anywhere on the phone. But it is still there, and I cannot delete it. Will a factory reset fix? Will everything come back from the online backup if I do a factory reset?

happened to me right now....
I cannot delete a folder in photo album..
the name is "download". I used to have a folder named "Download" (notice the case sensitive there? similar but not the same). I just replaced my microsd to a new one and copy whole content from my old miscrosd and put the new one in my 1520.

Now I have 2 similar folder with the same Thumbnail. Other folder/albums dont have this proble but that "download" folder.

I formatted, I deleted, I re-copy,...... it's still there now.

very annoying.
