Finally pulled the trigger on a surface when they dropped the price. I got a refurb with a black touch keyboard for $379. Wanted the cyan cover, but at that price I'm really not complaining! I think the surface would have sold like hot cakes had it been this price all along! Maybe not $350, but $400 at least!

Microsoft just dropped the price. Now's the perfect time.

Surely going to drop further to avoid landfill costs? MS has millions of those suckers in the channel that will need dumping before or if they try a second attempt at an RT tablet?

Just picked up the 32gig RT today! I have plenty of flash memory handy for it, USB & SD. Got it at the slashed price and figured it was time to take the plunge. So far so good!

I just got awarded with Employee of the Quarter, which comes with a $500 Visa gift card. So I picked up a 32gb Surface RT with 64gb microSDXC card. I didn't want the touch cover, but I did order a slipcase for it on Amazon. After a few days of playing with it, I can't figure out where all the negative reviews come from. This thing just... rocks my world. I've never gelled with a tablet before (I had a Nexus 7 and an iPad Mini) but Office and the laptop-like features just make this the perfect not-PC device for me. :)

I just got my Surface RT 32gig in the mail with touch cover. I'm updating it as we speak. MAN is it a sexy device ;). This isn't my first experience with windows 8 but I love it on the Surface. :))

Picked up my Surface RT on Saturday; got the 64GB with type cover (prefer the feel over the touch cover). I added a 64GB micro SD and mapped it so music, etc show up in the apps! Over 100GB of usable space on my RT!

I will say that it is a little heavier than I thought it would be and the 16:9 makes portrait use almost funny! But I love it; it is so functional and beautiful.

Best of all; when I logged into my MS account on it the Surface automatically downloaded all of my info from my Windows8 PC. Contacts, email settings, wireless printer settings, etc. Too easy to set up! I was using it in minutes.

My collection is complete; Windows 8 desktop, Surface RT, 8X.

Just checking in to this thread.

My Surface RT was procured in October 2012 from Australia (no Surface in the Philippines, officially) and I got hold of it thru my friend who carried in for me. I got the Touch Cover bundle so while I would love Cyan, I'm stuck with Black. It's currently running with RT 8.1 Preview.

It has replaced functions my Acer S3 is for, except the obvious the RT can't do, which is Hyper-V, SQL Server and Visual Studio.

I received my Surface RT yesterday, and I have to say i love it. Connected to my companys VPN, used RDP and it just works :D It could be a little faster opening some apps, but nothing I can't live with.

I got the 64GB version with Touch Cover the other day. I actually won a eBay auction of one, but the basterd seller cancelled the transaction at the last minute. So, I looked further and found a brand new one, imported from the States with EU adapter. Love it!

Just purchased a refurbished 32GB Surface RT from the Microsoft Store for $299. Just waiting for it to arrive. I've been researching the RT for the last week or so and then I had a chance to try one out at Best Buy. I came away very impressed with it hands on. I'm not expecting it to be a laptop replacement. I have my MacBook Pro for that duty. For what I'm looking for, it should be fine. As a computer professional, I see this as a powerful device compared to the other tablets that are on the market. For tablets, I currently have an iPad2, HP touchpad with CM10.1 and a 64GB Blackberry Playbook. I use all three tablets in some form or other, but I'm looking to downsize. I do not need all of these tablets and I'm looking to get down to using just one tablet. I'm figuring that the Surface RT for tablet use and my MacBook Pro for laptop use should be sufficient. I also have a HP TouchSmart running Windows 8 as my desktop. I use that mainly for my music (synthesizers). Looking forward to using the Surface RT and contributing to the forums.
